Chris: A part of me think that she could be a threat to win it all & I should bring it down but I can't bring myself to do it because this song is A+, in my book. Wallace: like you Maren but I'm sorry I can't support and rank "GIRL" as high as I did with "The Bones." This was a song I do remember when it was out, but I didn't hear this as much as some of her other songs. But I do like the soulful emotional approach she has while singing this song. She has some grit and rawness in her voice, which is cool. It's there in the verses but is more pronounced in the chorus. The chorus is pretty good and very catchy. I really like their vocals on this and the emotional connection they have on the song. The storytelling is also beautiful but also very moving. This song was a big hit on the country charts and did very well on the pop charts and got them lots of awards too (like "Speechless."). This is one of those songs that made me a fan of theirs and it's one of my main favorite songs of theirs too! It's my 2nd favorite song of this group of songs and am glad it made it to the finals. The music video is really nice too. It's cool how it stars Nyle from ANTM and DWTS. Hoping to see this rank high and hopefully be the highest ranked song by a male (lead) artist - although it's totally fine if "Speechless" gets that honor. Steven: This is my favorite Dan + Shay song. The lyrics, melody, and vocals all come together perfectly. Chris: Been a fan of Dan+Shay since their debut album so I was super excited that they finally got their well deserved breakthrough with this song. This song may have been overplayed but I am still not tired of it as I could listen to it, over and over and over again. Great song from Dan + Shay and I'm just happy to see it get these props in the rankings! Great Top 2 in Carrie's Love Wins and Kacey's Rainbow. Fine with either song winning! I prefer Carrie in general but "Rainbow" is one of my favorites from Kacey, so I'm honestly good with either winning! I do think Kacey will win. But will also be interesting to see how Steven and Akshar's rankings cancel each other out as I think Steven has "Rainbow" at 14 and Akshar has "Love Wins" at 14.
