I think the order will go something like this....  John Holiday (Team Legend)  Liam St. John (Team Gwen)  Marisa Corvo (Team Kelly)  Ben Allen (Team Blake)  Payge Turner (Team Gwen)  Sid Kingsley (Team Legend)  Taryn Papa (Team Blake)  Desz (Team Kelly)  I could also see Sam Stacy replacing Taryn, or Skylar Mayton replacing Marisa. For all as we know both her Battle and KO were apparently fantastic, and she´s very likely going to close a battle episode considering her opponent got stolen. Not to mention she´s a strong Team Gwen contestant. They´re gonna want her to have someone good in the premiere. Katie Kadan opened last fall's premiere and was leaked on Sept. 20 (Season 17 didn't premiere until Sept. 23).  I think John's gonna be the leak and I can see him opening, I don't think Taryn's closing an episode but she may be the penultimate audition of episode 1 or the opener for episode 2.  The show also doesn't like to put multiple similar artists as openers/closers in back-to-back episodes, so if Tamara opens the premiere (or closes it) then we won't see Desz until episode 3 at the earliest since there's no way either woman's not an opening/closing act given the relative sparseness of four-chair turns this season. I only need John H. to get the leak because I've been saying he's gonna be the leak since we got his name confirmed in audition spoilers and I'm in too deep to try and change my mind on it now.  Having him open would be icing on the cake - if nothing else, it'd certainly get people to stick around long enough to figure out who's the artist behind the voice when they can't see what they look like. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It should be noted that by the time Tanner auditioned, Blake only had one spot left (which went to Worth the Wait) which may have factored into why he sat out on Tanner's audition.  If I remember correctly, one of the sources we got from the Battle Rounds actually said Blake preferred Skylar (his battle partner who's a pop-singing teen) over him; feedback on his KO was mixed, but apparently Kelly had a tough time picking between him and Marisa (Marisa's the one who felt betrayed when she lost her KO and who Gwen said she was originally planning to steal). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
