Hmm, I'll see if I can come up with any idea suggestions!

I see. bye2.gif.7960d44992e1eeff806cdce1d9856c29.gif Wow, a girl can certainly dream.

Thank you! And happy actual birthday to you! :ohyeah: Haha yep, they almost couldn't be further apart. Oh, you are a gambler? 😮 I would enjoy doing the other activities, but yeah, I know shows would be less of an option at this time.  Aww, hopefully you can visit Hoover Dam, if not this time, then another. I can imagine about the drive. My family used to make a 8-9 hour drive every year to see our extended family, which was so long, but I never actually drove the distance myself. The most I've done as the driver is 3-4 hours, which can still be tiring. Ahh, I see. :( lol I prefer the window seat and always try to get one of those. :haha: I like the experience of flying, although not all the waiting that can come before and after. Oooh. :giggle: OMG I don't know about this with the Seahawks and it was probably before my time, but I would not be amused. (!)

I understand. :giggle: Oh, I didn't mean it wasn't conservative, but just that it wasn't as fancy? Or I don't know what word to use. :haha: I agree. :giggle:

Ah, I don't know if I knew that. Nicole doesn't seem to age because she looks the same as always to me. :haha:  That's okay. :giggle: I did look up Jaclyn and saw that about Charlie's Angels. I know I've heard of Farrah Fawcett. That is funny there was comparison between Katharine and Jaclyn! All the more reason she could portray her someday. Oh oops, I don't know what to say for myself. :giggle: OMG oops yes, I meant 45. I can count. :haha:  And lol yes, your range is over twice that of mine. But what's really interesting is the age difference between my youngest crush and your oldest (assuming 75 is your limit)...  52 years difference.  Yes, love that. :giggle: Yep!

Oooooh this must mean I am wrong.  Yikes, this might be hard for me to get.... they were part of the song or something related to a song's name? There is Robin Wright who starred in the movie Message in a Bottle (also the name of a song by The Police). Ooh she was engaged to Ben Foster... who was considered for a role in Outlaw King on Netflix, so that could be the first clue. As for the third one... not sure, but she's been in a lot of movies. Yess, they are and I like the advanced hints. :giggle:

Hmmm well.... I don't know what to say about that. :giggle:

I look forward to anything you can come up with!

One can certainly dream!

Again, thank you. I'm not a huge gambler; I set limits on how much I gamble and make sure I don't go over them. I mainly do slots, though I bet on sports every now and then. Even without the shows there are things to do there. The last time I went was five years ago and I did some things other than gambling. Yeah, me too; I've always wanted to see it in person. Wow, they drove 8-9 hours yearly?! I can't imagine doing it that often. I understand about the 3-4 hour drives; I used to do that on a yearly basis to see my family. Thank you for reminding me of another reason I don't like flying. The wait times used to drive me insane as well as the hassle at the airports. :/ I'd have to look it up, but I believe that owner sold the team shortly after the NFL denied his relocation attempt. I can imagine not being amused if that were to happen. 🙁

Oh, OK. :haha: Outside of the Gwen Stefani fiasco, Pia was one of the best-dressed Idol contestants. 😍

Yep. She doesn't appear to age. I guess it's something that's been a part of my DNA for as long as I can remember. :haha: Yes, it would be a wasted opportunity if Kat wasn't cast as Jaclyn should something like that happen. It is over twice the range of yours. :haha: That 52 year age difference is something (I'm not sure, but I don't think I'll have anyone older than Jaclyn). The ability to pass off as someone younger is something nice to have.

I'll say you're on the right path in terms of the clue. I'll post one more (it may give it away):

- To make a football reference, it's an area Russell Wilson would love to have guarded

As for your clue, I still have to think about it. I'll post my super wrong guess tonight.

I guess I will keep my far-reaching dreams alive. :blushingwave:

Ah, I see. I think I'd be too scared to ever gamble. :haha:  I'm sure there is more to do! I just don't know much since I haven't been there and only know the stereotypical activities. :haha:  Yes, 8-9 hours every summer. It was long and tiring for me sitting in the back, but I can only imagine actually driving it.  Oops no, I didn't mean to make you hate flying more. 😢 I don't mind waiting at the airport, but don't like sitting on the plane waiting for it to take off. One time there was too much traffic on the runway and the planes had to take turns... lol we were waiting and barely moving for so long. I never dealt with that aside from the one time though. Oooh interesting... but thank goodness they put a stop to that. Anaheim Seahawks doesn't even sound good. (!)

I don't think I'd disagree with that. 😛

Nothing wrong with that.... or your affection for older women. :haha:  I agree. Haha yes, these huge differences are fun to realize. :haha: Yes, I agree, and know a lot about that myself (which I believe I've talked about here before). :haha:

Hmmmm.... omg you giving me a Russell Wilson clue?! :dead:  But I'm confused what this is talking about. Is "it" the name of the lady? Or the song title from the other clue? And Russell should be protected as the QB, so I'm even more lost. :dead:  Welp, instead of it being given away, I am more confused than ever. lol. I'll randomly guess Sally Field. :dead:

I can't wait to see. 😮

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that! 👍

It can be scary to gamble if you don't have a set limit as to how much you're willing to bet. Last time I went, I visited the Mob Museum and rode the zipline (I forgot the name) on Fremont Street. One thing I didn't know at the time was Haley Scarnato lived in Vegas for a few years and performed on Fremont Street and in some of the casinos. It just so happened she was living there during my last trip. 💔 If I'd known this, I would've definitely made it a point to see her. 💔 I can imagine how tiring those long drives can be. Yeesh at there being too much traffic on the runway and having to wait for the plane's turn to take off; that would drive me insane. Yeah, Anaheim Seahawks doesn't have a nice ring to it. Fortunately, the late Paul Allen bought the team and kept it in Seattle.

Speaking of outfits, that could be an interesting topic. However, it may be too similar to the best-looking Idol contestants one and besides, it'd probably be a pain to look for pictures to use.

Right now, I can't think of anyone under 30 who I could possibly write about. :haha: Yeah, the differences are fun to learn and realize. Yes, you did talk about how you could pass for someone younger. :haha:

Crap, I didn't mean to make the clue more confusing. The "it" has nothing to do with the lady in question. Rather, as with the song clue, it is something she was a part of. Here's a hint: the "it" is referring to a movie title.

As for my guess, the only name that comes to mind is Leonardo DiCaprio. However, I can't think of how this would be a musical term, nor could I think of any early 2010s shows he was in. Oh well, he's my first attempt.

I randomly woke up and can't get back to sleep, so I'll use this time to share a bunch of random ranking ideas I thought of. :haha::(

  • Best theme
  • Worst theme
  • Best performances from any particular themes (I know we talked about this one before, so maybe it's one you're waiting on)
  • Favorite contestant friendships
  • Favorite debut singles from Idol alum
  • Best growth or improvement arc from a contestant
  • Best first "live show" performances
  • Best duet and/or trio performances
  • Favorite post-show Idol careers (like a contestant ranking, but only based on what they've done after the show)
  • Favorite personalities
  • Best group of girl finalists
  • Best group of guy finalists
  • Best style

Okay, that's all I have for now. Hopefully some of these will interest you. :haha:

  • Thanks 1

Yay! 😄

Well the amount I'm willing to bet would be zero, so I wouldn't get very far. :dead:  Ooh that sounds fun! I might like to try the zipline. 😮 I'd also be sure to do lots of shopping and spend a lot on things I don't need. :dead:  OMG noo, I'm so sorry you missed out on seeing Haley! Aww, such a bummer you didn't know until after. :(  Yeah, that was a particularly annoying travel experience, but I guess in general I find plane rides both relaxing and exciting. :haha: For sure and bless Paul Allen for that. ❤️

Ah yes, that's kind of one of my suggestions as well with the best style from a contestant. But it could be difficult to find pictures. :(

Fair enough. :giggle:  Haha thought so!

:dead: Okay yes, that helps to at least know what the "it" is about. Now let me go back to the drawing board and see if I come up with anything or fall back asleep first. :lmao:

Oooh. LOL at how you can't think of how he fits either part of the clue but he's your guess anyway. :lmao:What? :dead:   I know you were just waiting to whip out that Leo guess, so why not. :giggle:

Yay, thanks! 😄 Yes, that would be a great idea! It might also be interesting to rank them at the start and finish of the season to see how things change (assuming the "live" part of the season is longer than a few weeks :dead: )

I just hope it's an improvement over the last few years. I hate all the double eliminations and rushed weeks of the finals. :(

These are some great suggestions. The third one is one I had in mind; however, I'll wait until the end of the upcoming season in case there are more to add. This seems to be the case for some of the other themes as well. Favorite debut singles is intriguing. It'll probably be a pain to look for them or decide what they are, however. With everything said, I probably will go with one of these themes.

To quote Wayne Gretzky, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". :haha: With that said, it'd be difficult to go far if nothing is put down. :dead: The museum was certainly interesting, and the zipline was nerve-wrecking at first but a great experience afterwards. Yeah, me too. :( At least one of us enjoys plane rides. :haha: It's been years since I've last been on one. Yes, bless him for keeping the team in Seattle; I know how it is for a hometown to lose a team.

:giggle:

I'll most likely post that person this weekend. I'll try to do it before I leave; if not, it'll be after I arrive (which will be the same for whatever topic I decide to do).

I don't know; I guess my brain was fried after homework and watching The Masked Dancer and Name That Tune. :dead: Yeah, I just wanted to get that guess out of my system. :lmao: It looks like both of us are being stumped this time around. :haha:

Another quote, but not a song. :giggle: That is true, but I'm also not interested in losing money. 😛 I actually did ziplining before as part of a ropes course. It was so fun, although I had to climb up super high on a pole, which absolutely terrified me... and had to walk across a pole too. 😐 The flying through the air was great though. :haha: I'd love to do that again but not the rest. Yeah, I guess I'll enjoy planes enough for us both, lol. Aww but sorry about this last part. :(

Okay, I'm curious to see who it is! Whenever works best for you is fine, of course. You're busy and need to enjoy your trip!

Oh. :lmao:Ugh, I came up with a list based on the football clue, but... I don't know how any of them fit the original clues. It seems near impossible to figure out, so I guess I'll wait and see. Not sure what other clues to give for my person, but I'll think about it. :haha:

I know the feeling of randomly waking up in the middle of the night. :( At least it looks like you were able to get some sleep. ❤️

I'm still deciding which theme to go with from the list. I'll probably announce it tomorrow once I arrive in Vegas and get settled in. Today is preparation day! :haha:

I thought I'd mix it up a little. :lmao: Yeah, the feeling of losing money isn't great. Having a set budget and being disciplined enough not to go beyond it mitigates it a little. Speaking of which, a co-worker gave me some money to bet with and bring her back any winnings. I thought she was joking, but she was dead serious; I didn't know what to think of it. :dead: The ropes course sounds interesting, although I'm breaking out in a sweat reading you had to climb on a super high pole and walk across one. 🥶 I don't do too well with heights though I'm better now than I was a few years ago, so that probably wouldn't be for me. :haha: Completely understandable about enjoying the flying but not everything else that goes with it. :haha: Yeah, me too although I no longer live there. :(

I'm nearly done with the write-up and should have it up within the next hour or so. In the meanwhile, I look forward to more clues should you come up with any. 👍

Celebrity Crush #9: Sandra Bullock

th?id=OIP.73t2dWn9cVdNNgHqCrLWHwHaIQ%26pid=Api&f=1 Sandra-Bullock-c.jpg&f=1&nofb=1 Sandra-Bullock.jpg&f=1&nofb=1 Sandra-Bullock1.jpg?1c5b41&f=1&nofb=1

Clue #1: Had a connection with someone who could've been considered an outlaw

Sandra was married to former Monster Garage host Jesse James, which is also the name of one of history’s most notorious bandits.

Clue #2: A song from a band that is supposed to protect and serve

The band in question is indeed The Police. The song that fits this clue is Demolition Man from their 1981 album Ghost In The Machine. Demolition Man is also the name of the movie Sandra appeared in alongside Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes.

Clue #3: Worked with quite an excellent star on more than one occasion

Sandra starred in a couple of movies with Keanu Reeves, who was in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure as well as the two sequels. The movies the two worked together in were Speed and The Lake House.

Bonus Clue: To make a football reference, it’s an area Russell Wilson would love to have guarded

The area Russell Wilson or any quarterback would love to have guarded or protected is his blind side. Sandra starred in the movie The Blind Side, which was the story of former NFL player Michael Oher.

The lucky 50+ lady to get a write-up is none other than the beautiful and talented actress Sandra Bullock. 😊 She is another one who I’ve crushed on for as long as I can remember. I first saw her in Demolition Man; however, Speed is where I really fell for her. I just loved her character and thought she was a total cutie. It looks as if I’m not the only one who thought she was (and still thinks she is) attractive because she was named as one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 1996 and 1999, 12th in 2011, and finally named People’s Most Beautiful Woman in 2015. 😁

Outside of her looks, Sandra appears to have a good heart. For starters, she has donated millions of dollars to the American Red Cross. In addition, she has adopted two children and is raising them as if they were her own, and she’s doing it as a single mother. Finally, she appears to be someone who’s really down to earth and a lot of fun. 😁

As for her movies, my favorites are the aforementioned Speed, While You Were Sleeping, The Net, A Time To Kill, Miss Congeniality, The Proposal, The Blind Side, and The Heat. She is someone who can play just about any role, whether it's comedic or serious. She is an accomplished actress who has won many awards. 2009 was certainly a year to remember for her, as she won both an Oscar for Best Actress and a Razzie Award for Worst Actress for The Blind Side and All About Steve, respectively. My favorite thing was her accepting her Razzie in person (I believe Halle Berry did so as well). :lmao: It showed she didn’t take herself seriously. One thing I didn’t know was she was an executive producer of the George Lopez sitcom and has made several appearances in it (I never watched the show). 😮 All in all, she is definitely one of Hollywood’s leading ladies.

While all of this is good, Sandra has unfortunately dealt with some hardships. :( Her marriage to Jesse James ended ugly after learning he allegedly cheated on her multiple times. If true, it’s awful because she stood by and fought with him when he was in a heated custody battle with his ex-wife over their daughter, which she and James won. 🤬 The two of them were going to adopt Bullock’s son together; however, she went through with the adoption alone after their divorce. In addition to this, she had to deal with stalkers on three separate occasions, including one who broke into her house while she was there. 🥶 Fortunately, she was unharmed after the ordeal. Despite all of this, she still has a lively spirit and has kept her wits about her. 😊

I'll end the write-up with a few videos. First, there's one on Ellen in which she confessed she had a crush on Keanu Reeves. I'll post a bonus video of Keanu saying he had a crush on her as well. :haha:

On the Jonathan Roberts show where she raps along with Rapper's Delight :haha: (on an extremely superficial note, those legs... :omg: 🤤 😍)

The same episode in which she plays Chopsticks on the floor piano with Tom Hanks:

One in which she accepts her Decades of Hotness Award at the 2014 Guys Choice ceremony.

Last video, her surprising her sister during the Today Show's cooking segment :haha::

Ugh, it's awful. :(  But yes, thank you.

Okay! Yes, you had a lot to get ready for.

I see. :giggle:That's a good idea, but not sure I'd be willing to risk anything... maybe like $5. :haha:  OMG really?! lol that is so funny but also a fun way for you to experience it without losing anything. I'm so curious to see how this works out for her. :haha:  Yeah, it was a team-building activity and that was the big obstacle at the end of the day. I'll never forget how scary those moments were. cold.gif.d9372ea892393bc7f0a17e6b338aca7a.gif I never really knew how I'd deal with heights because I had never been up THAT high before. :omg:  But yes, flying through the air is super fun. :haha:  Aww. :(

Sandra Bullock: Yay for answers because I desperately need to understand the clues! :lmao:  Wow.... I never would have gotten any of these. At least I came up with The Police easily, but I am not familiar with any of these projects or her ex-husband to have ever gotten this, lol. 😢 Oh well, I did my best. I do know of Sandra Bullock, but can't say I've seen anything she's done. She's still a well known name and a beautiful lady. It's nice she finally got that official title after so many years of making the list. :haha:  Aww I love what you said about her charitable work and raising her children. But a single mother? 😮 This is your chance! Oh, Miss Congeniality is the movie I am most familiar with, although actually still never saw that one... at least I know about it though. :giggle: Oh, and I was thinking she was the star of Bird Box, which I heard so much about a couple years ago (but haven't seen either). I'm surprised you didn't mention that one. She won an Oscar and Razzie... and in the same year? Wow but lol nice that she took it so well. Wow, so sad to hear about the struggles she's had in her personal life, but thankfully she is safe, healthy, and doing well. ❤️ She does seem like a very nice, beautiful, and talented woman, despite me not knowing her all too well.  I feel like I might have seen this interview of her on Ellen, but that was cute what she said and how both her and Keanu liked each other. :giggle: Going to watch the other videos and comment on them later!

Oh yay, I see you chose the next topic! And good to know you made it safely to Vegas. I hope you enjoy your time there!

Gotta keep things different once in a while. :giggle:Well, $5 is a start. :haha: So far, I haven't bet any of her money, but I'll give her something whether I win or lose. I can only imagine how scary that was; I probably would've noped out of that activity, team-building or not. :haha: Despite that, glad to see you enjoy flying so much. 😊 Yeah, it sucks. Speaking of such, I definitely plan on seeing the stadium in person while I'm here.

Too bad about not being all that familiar with her :(; at least you tried your best. Yes at finally topping the list after being on there so many times. :haha: I don't know; children are a huge commitment and one has to be sure if he/she are willing to understand and deal with that. Miss Congeniality is one of my favorite movies of hers (at least the first one, didn't care for the sequel). Prior to looking for videos for her write-up, I wasn't too familiar with Bird Box; then again, it appears to be a Netflix movie and I don't have Netflix. Yes, winning both in the same year let alone at all was something indeed. :haha: Yeah, I'm glad she seems to be fine as well after experiencing all of those hard times. Yes she does. ❤️  It was cute that the two crushed on each other during the time. :haha: Their fans want the two to be together; however, Keanu has a girlfriend, so that's not going to happen any time soon. :haha: Hopefully you do!

I'll post the guidelines when we get to the next page. I believe this is #22.
