This is a pretty good/decent Top 21.


Lots/most of my biggest favorites made it through so yayy for that! ❤️ Though I am sad to lose certain songs in there like "Like You'll Never See Me Again," "Teenage Love Affair," "Doesn't Mean Anything," "Put It in a Love Song," "New Day" and "Unbreakable" miss out making the finals. 😢 I do wish As I Am and The Element of Freedom had more representation - particularly the As I Am album as that was when I got to see Alicia live in concert. :wub:

Of course this was one of the songs eliminated! :dead: I'm disappointed but not surprised. This gem is my favorite from As I Am, but I didn't have my hopes up of it making the final cut. I'm happy it made it this far.

 

On that subject, while a good portion of my favorites missed out, this is a nice set all things considered. As an advocate for having more non-singles in these kind of rankdowns, the ones that are here are fairly solid. I'm happy to see The Diary of Alicia Keys represented well as it's my favorite album of hers.

 

I already know my #1 and #21. It will be a fun challenge to rank the others. :haha:
