What Knockouts are everybody looking forward to the most? (Or Knockout matchups for that matter)

The battles are almost done!

I’m going to be completely honest… I don’t know what train I’m going to be on this season. Knockouts will hopefully clear things up for me. I feel like I usually have it narrowed down more at this point but for some reason I’m struggling to pick a Top 3 right now. This season’s format really isn’t helping either

It’s a full circle moment, since Reba was their original choice and she’s advising Blake’s last season. Also, I think she advised in an early season

Yeah, the Top 2 were definitely the most surprising and I believe I noted that in my reactions to the placements.

Finally! Anyway, here are my thoughts Walker Wilson- I really disliked his audition, since I didn’t really hear any melody in the performance, and I wasn’t a fan of his rasp there. Luckily, I thought he did better in his battle. I’m more with Jarmon on this one. Allie Keck- I have her in the next set. I enjoyed her performance, and it was really cool to see that song choice. I did enjoy her voice and honestly wish she got a steal in battles. I agree with this placement more than Jarmon’s Tiana Goss- I have her closer to the bottom, so I agree more with Jarmon. I just found this to be quite forgettable. Kylee Dayne- This is similar with where I would have her, and same with Jarmon. Very solid auditions and I’m glad she’s in the Knockouts Manasseh Samone- A slight difference between you and Jarmon, but I agree with your placement more. Her audition was very solid and would have deserved multiple chairs, and her battle performance was great. Congrats to her for getting the playoff pass.

It has to be the impact of the Voice Alums

My breakdown is 3-3-2-2, and I would only flip Kelly and Niall (higher average of my Top 3 in Blinds). My favorite contestants on both Kelly and Niall actually changed following the battle performances. Are we going to see which acts your opinion changed on?

Wow, this might actually be my order for them! My thoughts Laura Littleton- Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of this one. It’s not in my personal Top 20. I feel like I have high expectations on this song as well, and very few contestants have met the standard for me. I will also point that this was a poor usage of the block, since Kelly blocked Blake when one of Harry’s former bandmates was sitting right next to Blake. I do appreciate how she did a country spin on a pop song, and she also has a great personality. This was just not my cup of tea, and I personally liked Grace and Holly a lot more. JB Somers- A very solid performance, but it would likely be between 15 and 20 for me. He has a really good tone, but the audition didn’t stick out to me enough for me to call it one of my favorite auditions. It was a nice surprise though, since it didn’t seem like anyone would have it at the top of her list, and I know that some users here will be happy to see him ranked high. Kala Banham- This was my #8 of the season. I really loved the theatrics of this performance, and it was the biggest surprise of the Blinds for me. Not to mention, Kala was speculated to only turn 2 chairs, but got 3 instead, and I’m so happy that Chance turned, since it was closer to a 4 chair audition than a 2 chair audition for me. She may not have had my #1 audition, but she did have my #1 battle. I’m so glad she was able to get stolen because Gina and Kala were both fantastic there. Anyway, thank you so much for doing this list Jarmon! It was very fun to follow, even if I didn’t agree with all of the placements, and it was great to see your passion for the artists. I want to do an end of season ranking, and I’m actually starting the planning right now, including ranking the battle eliminees and seeing which artists “clinched” spots in the Top 20 or Top 30 based on their first two performances.
