I wasn’t there during that season at least not on the voice. Are you telling me IDF has matured since then and has learned to just to enjoy the show and appreciate watching their favs regardless how far they make it?

Honestly they’re all good. Each have something great about them. Jim and Sasha and GNT are good examples about families doing what they love together. And talented at that too. Wendy has the best technical voice of the competition. Jershika has a powerful voice, unique tone, and cute quirky personality. Jeremy keeps surprising people with his talent and himself with his success, he has such a warm heart. Hailey Mia is driven and determined and has a good voice that was able to compete against older competition. Paris Winningham is a dark horse and a force to be reckoned with. Lana has that cool Dolly Parton twangy throwback country vibe. Joshua is creative and passionate about singing. Shadale can slay ballads and uptempo songs. Holly Forbes has an awesome voice and seems like a genuinely kind person like Jeremy does and she’s seems very thankful to be there. Gymani is versatile in her various genres she chooses to sing. Which is cool. Last, but definitely not least, Ryleigh can work the stage, has a great voice, and also uses the platform she’s been given to speak out about vital issues. She also seems sweet, but not afraid to stand up for herself and others if needed.

Or maybe either A. Jershika’s unique tone is appealing to team “minivan”. And josh may have that “grandson” look and personality. or B. perhaps team “minivan” isn’t as important as it once used to be and the voting is now mainly just casuals and hardcore voice fans.

I mean Samuel has lots of talent but he sang Ne-Yo, and David is talented , but his laid back style was likely the reason he didn’t make it.

About Jershika getting the PV. I think it was because her performance was more “in your face” (in a GOOD way) with a more unique song choice than Shadale. Shadale did well on the song, but mah e audience got bored with covers of LOTB. imo, I don’t get why everyone was expecting Peedy to make it. I enjoyed his performances, but his style of music never does well on the voice. Like Libianca, he may have better luck on America’s Got Talent. Also, why do people underestimate Paris? I expect he could take the win, especially with good song choice.

She’s been flying under the radar and really needs something to stand out to get far. I thin “Rainbow” could be a moment for her. With that song, she could be the Willie Spence (someone under radar until top 12/13 then makes it very far) of The Voice 21

I’d say Paris has the potential to switch between oldies, rock, and artisit singer/songwriter. I’d say GNT Jim and Sasha, Shadale, and Wendy if she decided to go upbeat could also be potential rockers.

How does John continue being on the show ruin Alicia or humbugs chances of coming back? …

I enjoyed her too, but Blake’s team was stacked and there was no way Wendy and Paris weren’t getting a public vote and Blake predictably saved Lana (not that I’m complaining). I think Libianca might fare better in AGT and/or as a YouTube sensation. She has plenty of talent.

I loved Raquel’s previous performances but her PO wasn’t as good as I’d like it. And I think if we’re going to go with best performances it was Ryleigh on Ari.

Jim and Sasha got some irrational hate for one mediocre performance. They’re not my favorite contestant , but their overall body of work from battles to KOs, despite their bump in the POs shows their potential. It makes you think that there’s bigotry around the irrational hate they get from both reviewers and on IDF.

Season 13 was great and all, but these posts seems like boomers remnicising about the “Good” old days, instead of keeping their eye on the present and the future .

Maybe top 8 or top 10? I think IDF is overestimating GNT's chances. Don't get me wrong, theyre talented, and I'd be happy if they win, but duos usually have a tough time on the show, and i dont think trios will have better luck, even though they are talented.

I do want him to sing a Christian song one point during his run. I also want him to do something upbeat at least once.
