It always sucks getting attached to someone in the auditions only for them to get immediately dumped in the Battles and completely skipped over, so who do you think deserved better? I excluded anyone that got double montaged and anyone prior to S9, but feel free to comment anyone else below.

That was S17 Kelly. She knew what she was doing, and sadly Brooke didnt fit in her plan.

I was very excited for Wyatt Michael pre-season S21, so it sucks that he left so early, and especially that we didnt get to see his battle, since those 5 seconds sounded fantastic.

 

Brooke Stephenson had a lot of potential in the folk lane on the show, would have loved to see more of her.

 

Caeland Garner was very interesting. I was very intrigued by him pre-season, he is a dobro player that can do more apart from  country, and he had a great BA song choice, but Blake thought of him as fodder so there we are.

 

I enjoyed Elia Esparza's tone in her BA. And her montaged battle sounded good. Would have liked to see more of her.

I wonder how far Brooke could've gone had she picked Gwen, as it seemed like Gwen really wanted her on her team. Part of me wants to think that she would've sacrificed someone like Brennen Henson or James Violet to her in the battles, but I don't think she would've been able to take a spot from Jake, Rose, Kyndal, and Myracle in the KOs. Maybe she could've ended up as a strong KO steal? IDK, it really just seems as if there was no good lane for Brooke that season.

Brennan ... I'm always curious when a 4 chair turn gets montaged and loses in the battle, she was good but so was Gracee, 

 

Sydney... I love her audition so much, the biggest wtf for me, I'm sure Madi was good too but no steal for Sydney ??? unless she completely flopped but I can't see it

I think I remember and interview with Sydney (or maybe it was Madi?) where they said their battle was in a later taping with no steals left :( 

 

Edit- It was Madi who said no steals were left
