I read her blog.  Basically, she was eating out in Portland with her Mom....and saw Scotty sitting at the bar.  She tapped him on the shoulder and talked to him briefly.  She also said she would love to see Scotty perform live.  I guess the Carnaval wasn't her type of show.

North Carolina’s extensive history in the Vietnam War is explored in a new documentary, The Wall That Heals. The 30-minute film will premiere Saturday, March 12, at the NC Museum of History at 2 p.m.

 

 

 

The project is narrated by some nationally prominent voice talent, including country music star Scotty McCreery, TV and film star Sharon Lawrence, Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, and multiple Emmy Award winner John Tesh. All have North Carolina ties.
