  1. Very good analysis. I actually liked Emma's performance more than you did, but your analysis might explain why she lost if she is eliminated.
  2. Night 1: Nailyah, Emma and Iam Night 2: WE, Nutsa and Olivia.
  3. Elijah McCormick - Good Vibes by Chris Janson - 6. Good performance, questionable song choice. Paige Anne - Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus - 7. She came back with a vengeance. Marybeth Byrd - Heart Like a Truck by Lainey Wilson - 8. A very good performance! Wé Ani - Edge of Midnight by Miley Cyrus and Stevie Nicks - 9.5. Wow, did she put on a show! Michael Williams - Tuesdays by Jake Scott -7.5. His best performance. Dawson Wayne - Copycat by Billie Eillish - 5.5. He really should have chosen "No Time To Die." Hannah Nicolaisen - Glitter in the Air by P!nk - 6.5. Poor girl was sick. Megan Danielle - The Chain by Fleetwood Mac - 7. Good voice, not-so-good performance skills. Malik Heard - Ain't It Fun by Paramore - 5. He really should have taken Noah's advice. Olivia Soli - Emotions by Mariah Carey - 8.5. What a comeback! Colin Stough - Midnight Train to Memphis by Chris Stapleton - 5.5. Meh. Tyson Venegas - It Will Rain by Bruno Mars - 7. He was doing very well until he tried to interact more with the audience. Nutsa - Paris (Ooh La La) by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals - 9. What a way to close the show!
  4. Top 26 Questions 1. Which 10 singers from Group 1 will advance to Top 20? (100 points) - Iam - Nailyah - Oliver - Matt - Kaeyra - Lucy - Warren - Zachariah - Haven - Elise 2. Which 10 singers from Group 2 will advance to Top 20? (100 points) - WE! - Olivia - Michael - Nutsa - Paige Anne - Marybeth - Colin - Tyson - Megan - Elijah 3. Which 3 out of 6 singers who will go home (from either group) that you are confident will not move forward to Top 20? (60 points) - PJAE - Malik - Dawson 4. Which female singer (from each group) will be announced first by Ryan Seacrest to move forward to Top 20? (20 points) - (Group 1) Kaeyra - (Group 2) Wé 5. Which male singer (from each group) will be announced first by Ryan Seacrest to move forward to Top 20? (20 points) - (Group 1) Iam - (Group 2) Colin 6. What will be the ratio of male and female singers in the Top 20? (20 points) - 9 males and 11 females
  5. She’s probably safe this round. The only thing worse than being hated in this round is being forgotten. But next round — I love her (especially because she’s the anti Facebook moms contestant), but I have no illusions that she’ll make the Top 12.
  6. I didn't look at any of the performances on Facebook other than We's, and I voted for Hannah but not any of the guys. She could still slip by the guys and it could be Dawson, Elijah and Malik going bye-bye.
  7. I have to agree that Group 2 was a lot stronger. Of course, Group 2 had We.
  8. Yeah. And I gave extra votes to Hannah but not to Elijah. Though I gave no votes to Elijah both because I thought he’d do fine and because he unfortunately is the wrong gender. The second reason isn’t a good one but I only once voted for a guy from the start, and that was Clay Aiken.
  9. Three guesses who I chose — and some might not even need three guesses!
  10. Yeah, she’s the anti-Facebook moms’ contestant. And I love her for it!
  11. That might be more her cup of tea but I don't know if they have cleared any of Ariana and Jessie J.'s songs.
  12. I'll rank them later, but after re-watching the performances, my favorite is Nailyah.
  13. Elise Kristine - Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler - 7. She had a good performance. Oliver Steele - Better Together by Jack Johnson - 6.5. Enjoyable but a little boring. Matt Wilson - Speechless by Dan + Shay - 7. Gets points for serenading his wife during his song. Kaeyra - Don’t Let Go (Love) by En Vogue - 7.5. She really worked the stage well. Pjae - Golden by Jill Scott - 5. Bye-bye. Zachariah Smith - Lucille by Little Richard - 7. He knows how to put on a show, but I found him spastic at times. Mariah Faith - You Should Probably Leave by Chris Stapleton - 5.5. Unfortunately, after that performance, she should probably leave. Emma Busse - Lay Me Down by Sam Smith - 8. Between her and Elise, she was better. Warren Peay - Set Fire To The Rain by Adele - 7. Definitely unexpected. Nailyah - Lovin’ You by Minnie Riperton - 9. She saved herself with that performance! Haven Madison - The Middle by Zedd, Maren Morris, & Grey - 5. A rather disjointed performance. Lucy Love - What’s Love Got To Do With It? by Tina Turner - 6. I've heard her do better. Iam Tongi - Don’t Let Go by SpawnBreezie - 8. Best of the guys.
  14. I'm glad that Nailyah no longer looks to be in danger this week. I don't hate Mariah but I prefer Nailyah to her. As for Emma, I enjoyed her song but she isn't getting the fans and that's a shame. What can I say about PJAE? He's cannon fodder.
