Or "goodbye time" (this is from a fan so meh quality) Also God's Country is a hard song. By and large country radio doesn't reward this type of vocal from male country singers, but Blake is a much better vocalist then most of what he puts out (it's frustrating) (also Kelly is a much better vocalist then Blake, but Blake is a much better vocalist then Jake Hoot)

It’s 4 KO’s per coach, for 16 overall KO. With 3 sessions, two of the sessions should have 5 KO’s and one 6. They’re also starting earlier, so should be shorter, relatively easy taping days

Go Rest High on the Mountain is a great suggestion, but need to wait for live shows, so you can get the proper fiddle instrumentation

Knows of her, and knows her are two different things. She’s much better then he was, but I don’t want another tony Luca situation happening to her

It’ll be interesting to see how they play Wendy’s previous experience. They’ve often had “celeb you sang back up for” call in as support pre-blinds. But if all her country celebs come out, and Blake keeps choosing her, I can see it being perceived as favoritism by some. Also her being perceived as a ringer. I doubt Blake knows her though (and 8x is more then Blake has performed at the opry since 2019), and while I’m sure he’ll think it’s cool she knows Martina snd Wynona, I doubt it will really influence his decisions. She’s so good though, I don’t think she needs the help.

Her phrasing and tone plus control of dynamics. Truthfully, my favorite contestants are rarely the ones with the largest ranges, because they tend to want to show it off, over singing the song.

In KO genre doesn't matter as much because they're singing two different songs anyways. Its more about what the coach wants their live team to look like. Blake for instance tends to prefer to have contestants in different lanes, so if he has two contestants in the same lane, he'll pair them to leave only the "stronger". If Ariana wants multiple pop female girls on her lives team, she won't pair them against each other. Kelly is one who doesn't always pair by genre/type.

I was going to say, you know better then to say that male country singers need range (and Luke's limited range is bigger then Aldean's, or Eric Church..although Church is good in other ways)

Alisan, Maelyn, Tessanne, Brynn - all of them were some flavor of pop/rnb/soul

Carson and Peedy are both to young, beardless, and cowboy hatless to be true snowflake killers. Carson is an excellent musician though, and if given songs that allow him to play fiddle, minivan will almost certainly stan.

There are actually fewer teenage pop singers this season then I was expecting. That said, you never know what people are going to do in the moment. Kelly can make some very compelling pitches, even vs Ariana

Half of Blake’s band used to play for Martina as well. Then again, Blake has had connections with lots of artists in the past & it hasn’t made a big difference. Maybe makes it more likely she ends up doing country on the show & the audience accepts her as country though.

Assuming their is a mega mentor. They have done their sessions with Blake (also I would point out that someone getting stolen against an insane diva happens fairly often, see Joseph Soul vs Desz)

They're back on set for another coaches taping, but nothing indicating which coaches team so far (Blake's team has already gone)

Well we know she didn't sing country for her blind, and that Blake had to pair her with someone/choose a song based on that info. I think we'll get more of an idea of which way she's going based on her KO song choice (or which way tptb want her to go anyways)
