Yeah the all important 18-49 demo is what counts and in that regard Idol is winning (and has been for quite some time now). Advertisers don't care about the over 50 year old viewers. Although now I feel like traditional ratings are more irrelevant than ever. Almost nobody watches live TV anymore. Its all about streaming now.

Random, but I was watching old videos and Ellen was way too hard on Katie Stevens. She kept complaining that she wasn't "young" enough. Who cares if she sings an older song? Sorry, but I don’t think Haley was the most bussed. That goes to Allison Iraheta, Syesha Mercado, Siobhan Magnus, Casey James, Kris Allen, and Jessica Meuse.

So far, Chayce is probably the most successful ABC era winner. He has a Gold single (platinum in Canada).

For me, its Season 10. I also liked Season 20 for the ABC era.

It has been beating The Voice mondays head to head. Cool.

Have you seen his Twitter page? If you read his tweets, it seems like he is going through a lot of mental issues. Posting things that don’t make sense. A lot of rambling. I have seen it go on for over a year, then he often deletes them. Hopefully he gets help.
