Congratulations to Tom for winning his battle. It was a close vote on the app with a very slight lean towards Tom; officially a "draw" and I'm glad Reba picked Tom to advance. Interesting that he named Stevie Wonder and Cody Johnson as his favorite artists. He auditioned and battled singing their songs, respectively.

Congratulations to Mara for winning her battle. I think that's the most decisive app victory this season so far.

I thought the song fits Tom's voice more than Dylan's voice. I thought the battle is pretty much even until the point Tom showed his range. And Tom brought more energy to the battle, and projected more conviction. I think that helped Reba make the decision to pick him.

Finally finished watching Kaylee's battle on TV. She's even more impressive on the big screen. Her voice has so much depth and fullness, even on the high notes. She doesn't sound shrill like some singers do when belting. They showed some of her boxing videos; maybe they'll show her wrestling in the KOs. Congratulations to Kaylee for winning her battle. Looking forward to Kaylee's KO performance. Bonus points for Kaylee with Sanrio/Hello Kitty obsession. (I may or may have some Hello Kitty stuff including a stuffed toy. )

I don't know what people on the other thread and the coaches are hearing. I thought it's no contest. Kaylee dominated that battle. I guess I am more sensitive to tone, especially on the high notes.
