Final Thoughts On Camila After S22?

Now that the season is coming to an end, how did y’all like Camila as a coach?

I thought she was great at letting artists be themselves. Her Top 3 — Morgan, Devix, and Eric were all prime examples.

Camila carried this coach panel, which isn’t something I thought would say pre-season. Her Top 4 was pretty cool and entertainment-wise she was fun without every being annoying.

She's way more entertaining than Ariana and Nick, was as good at convincing people to join her team as Kelly is but made some bad decisions and chose some questionable song choices especially in the battles. Overall, I think she did a good job considering that was her first season. I wouldn't mind her coming back.

I think her saving Eric over Kate was def her worst decision.

Yeah, pairing Andrew and Zach in battles was... something. She also lost some strong team members in the KOs although I don't fault her so much for that as the format (which I hope never comes back).

 

Overall though... it's hard to say based on just one season, but she's entertaining, gives good feedback, clearly cares deeply about her team. I'd definitely put her in the upper half of Voice coaches so far.

I was pretty excited for her pre-season, but I didn’t expect to like her as much as I did. She was charismatic and developed a solid team of unique artists that she became heavily invested in — no complaints here.

I ended up liking her way more than I thought I would. I loved the way she showed her personality, and the way she got into the performances. I loved watching her dance and move in her seat during other contestants' performances. I loved how passionate she was (and is) about her team and everyone on it, and how she encouraged their individuality and helped them with stage presence. She was also very good at banter with the other coaches and coming up with kind things to say live.

 

I'd absolutely love if she came back in a future season because I love what she added to the show.
