SPEAROW Well, this is awkward. Sorry I couldn't follow through on saving Spearow for you guys, but it is my least favorite of the remaining choices. Remember what all those Spearow did to Pikachu in the very first episode of the Pokémon anime? That's why I'm eliminating Spearow. In addition, I once ran into a shiny Spearow while playing Pokémon FireRed, but I accidentally knocked it out. So, I don't have much fondness for Spearow. Anyway, classified as the Tiny Bird Pokémon, Spearow is the pre-evolved form of Fearow (which it can evolve into at level 20). According to its Pokédex entry, Spearow is very territorial and will even recklessly stand up to larger Pokémon to protect its home. And although Spearow can't fly very high, it is capable of flying very fast. Anyway, sorry to fans of Spearow! Saving Sentret.

WAILMER Classified as the Ball Whale Pokémon, Wailmer is a Water type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Wailmer also happens to be one of the very first Gen III Pokémon revealed before the Ruby/Sapphire games were released (along with Kecleon and Azurill). Wailmer is a spherical whale Pokémon absent of a tail that can evolve into the massive Wailord when it reaches level 40. According to its Pokédex entry, Wailmer is capable of absorbing a lot of seawater to become a big, bouncy ball. The more water it fills itself up with, the higher Wailmer can bounce. Wailmer is a pretty common Pokémon to find in the games. If you surf on the water at certain points in the game, you're likely to run into a Wailmer. Sorry to any fans, but out Wailmer goes from the rankdown. Saving Spheal.

SANDSHREW I didn't really want to cut a Gen I Pokémon, but my options are limited. Plus, I don't know how much longevity Sandshrew will have in this rankdown anyway. Classified as the Mouse Pokémon, Sandshrew is a Ground type that evolves into Sandslash at level 22. Sandshrew's design seems to be based on the pangolin. According to its Pokédex entry, it is noted how Sandshrew can roll itself into a ball and bounce around. Sandshrew also live in dry climates and use sand to protect itself from enemies. As for battles, Sandshrew's best stats are its Attack and Defense, and these stats improve when it evolves into a Sandslash. Sorry to Sandshrew, but out it goes from the rankdown. Saving Lopunny.

ELEKID Introduced in Gen II, Elekid is the baby form of Electabuzz. Elekid will evolve into Electabuzz at level 30 before it can evolve into an Electivire via trading with an Electirizer. Classified as the Electric Pokémon, Elekid looks like a walking plug. In its Pokédex entry, it is noted how Elekid will happily play in a thunderstorm. Just hearing the sound of thunder will make Elekid rowdy. In addition, it rotates its arms to charge up electricity, but it can only charge up a little at a time. Anyway, Elekid is one of the many baby Pokémon in the Pokémon universe, and I think it's a fair elimination out of these nominations. Saving Hitmonchan.
