  1. IDF now has Dark Mode option. I guess me copying and pasting in Dark Mode affected it in default mode too.

  9. 5. ARTHUR - INCEPTION (2010) From Wikipedia: The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a professional thief who steals information by infiltrating the subconscious of his targets. He is offered a chance to have his criminal history erased as payment for the implantation of another person's idea into a target's subconscious. The ensemble cast includes Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Elliot Page, Tom Hardy, Dileep Rao, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, and Michael Caine. Arthur is Cobb's partner who manages and researches the missions. Gordon-Levitt compared Arthur to the producer of Cobb's art, "the one saying, 'Okay, you have your vision; now I'm going to figure out how to make all the nuts and bolts work so you can do your thing.'" 6.33 SOLA: 1 ANDY: 4 CHRIS: 5 REI: 8 ALEX: 9 - I've been pretty outspoken that I don't care for Inception. JGL's one of the least interesting characters in the movie anyways. DEE: 11 - Paprika did it better!!! 4. JON "DON JON" MARTELLO - DON JON (2013) From Wikipedia: Don Jon is a 2013 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in his feature directorial debut. New Jersey bartender Jon Martello (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) knows what's important: his friends, his family, his car, his church, his sexual conquests -- and porn. In fact, Jon is a porn addict and has never had a genuine relationship with a woman. However, when he meets Barbara (Scarlett Johansson) he has to change his operating methods, because Barbara won't be bedded easily. For the first time in his life, Jon begins a real courtship, but his obsession with erotica threatens to ruin everything. 6.16 CHRIS: 3 REI: 4 ANDY: 5 ALEX: 7 - I've been meaning to see this but keep putting it off. I wanna support JGL's career! But I'm also tired of the NJ Italian stereotypes lmao. Should've kept it all at Sopranos. DEE: 8 - For a debut, JGL did great as a writer, director, and lead actor. He is also f*cking hot in this movie. SOLA: 10 3. JOE - LOOPER (2012) Film Synopsis: In a future society, time-travel exists, but it's only available to those with the means to pay for it on the black market. When the mob wants to eliminate someone, it sends the target into the past, where a hit man known as a looper lies in wait to finish the job. Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is one such hired gun, and he does his job well -- until the day his bosses decide to "close the loop" and send Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) back in time to be killed. 5.66 REI: 3 SOLA: 3 ALEX: 5 - JGL's last decent movie . Please come back to us king! DEE: 5 - One of the best films of the 2010s decade and it was treated horribly in the Film Rankdown. ANDY: 7 CHRIS: 11 2. ADAM LERNER - 50/50 (2011) Film Synopsis: Adam Lerner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has always tried to take good care of his health, so it comes as a cruel surprise when he learns that he has malignant tumors along his spine. His doctor gives him a 50/50 chance of survival, but Adam tries to remain upbeat, though his mother (Anjelica Huston) and his friend Kyle (Seth Rogen), react badly to the news. Adam starts seeing a therapist (Anna Kendrick), but their relationship threatens to cross the boundary between doctor and patient. 3 ALEX: 1 - One of my favorite movies ever! JGL legit deserved an Oscar for this he's soooooooooo good. ANDY: 2 - He makes this movie, tbh. Really masterful performance. CHRIS: 2 REI: 2 DEE: 3 - Such a special movie to me! Read about why in the Film Rankdown. Another favorite of mine. SOLA: 8 1. TOM HANSEN - (500) DAYS OF SUMMER (2009) ilm Synopsis: Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), greeting-card writer and hopeless romantic, is caught completely off-guard when his girlfriend, Summer (Zooey Deschanel), suddenly dumps him. He reflects on their 500 days together to try to figure out where their love affair went sour, and in doing so, Tom rediscovers his true passions in life. The film received Best Original Screenplay and Best Screenplay awards at the 14th Satellite Awards and 25th Independent Spirit Awards, respectively, as well as two nominations at the 67th Golden Globe Awards: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Musical or Comedy (Gordon-Levitt). 2 ANDY: 1 - JGL and Zooey make this my favorite break up movie of all time. His performance here is nuanced and tragic and incredible from start to finish. Such an important move to me. CHRIS: 1 DEE: 1 - One of my favorite films of all-time. REI: 1 ALEX: 4 - It's f*ck Tom, but this movie's great and JGL is amazing! SOLA: 4
  10. 10. BRENDAN FRYE - BRICK (2005) Film Synopsis: After receiving a frantic phone call from his ex-girlfriend, teenage loner Brendan Frye (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) learns that her dead body has been found. Vowing to solve her murder himself, he must infiltrate high-school cliques that he previously avoided. His search for the truth places him before some of the school's roughest characters, leading to a confrontation with a drug dealer known as "the Pin (Lukas Haas)." 9.33 DEE: 2 - One of my favorite movies of all-time. Beyond underrated. ANDY: 9 ALEX: 10 - Omg Rian Johnson's first movie! But yeah I'm probably never gonna see this oop. SOLA: 11 CHRIS: 12 REI: 12 9. NEIL MCCORMICK - MYSTERIOUS SKIN (2004) From Wikipedia: Mysterious Skin tells the story of two pre-adolescent boys who both experienced a strange event as children, and how it affects their lives in different ways into their young adulthood. One boy becomes a reckless, sexually adventurous male prostitute, while the other retreats into a reclusive fantasy of alien abduction. 8.33 DEE: 4 - A fantastic movie. A super, super hard watch, but an unnerving portrayal of the effects of rape on young boys. REI: 6 SOLA: 6 ALEX: 8 - Haven't seen but the trailer left me shook. ANDY: 13 CHRIS: 13 8. JOHN "ROBIN" BLAKE - THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (2012) From Wikipedia: Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the revolutionary Bane forces Bruce Wayne to resume his role as Batman and save Gotham City from nuclear destruction. John Blake is a young police officer whose instincts lead him to believe that there is trouble on the horizon and is promoted to detective by Gordon when the elder cop saw something of himself within the younger. Blake represents the idealism that Gordon and Bruce Wayne once held, but soon lost in their battle against crime in the city. 8.16 SOLA: 5 ANDY: 6 REI: 7 CHRIS: 8 ALEX: 11 - A poor follow-up to an amazing movie. Honestly I barely remember JGL's character in it, I only remember Catwoman and Bane lol. DEE: 12 7. TOMMY SOLOMON - 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN (1996) From Wikipedia: The show is about four extraterrestrials who are on an expedition to Earth, the third planet from the Sun, which they consider to be a very insignificant planet. The extraterrestrials pose as a human family to observe the behavior of human beings. When the Solomons originally arrived on Earth, Tommy, despite being the oldest of the aliens, was given the body of a teenage boy. Despite having to act like a kid all the time, Tommy's real age shines through. Tommy is the smartest and most Earth-savvy of the Solomons, and he is charged with gathering information about humans, mainly from television shows and films. 7.16 ALEX: 2 - It should be lower than a few other things, but I have such a soft spot for this show, I have lots of good memories watching it. Tommy was always my favorite male character (as I obviously stanned all the women more ). REI: 5 DEE: 7 - One of my favorite sitcoms of all-time. This was when my crush on JGL was born! Tommy Solomon. ANDY: 8 CHRIS: 9 SOLA: 12 6. CAMERON JAMES - 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU (2002) From Wikipedia: 10 Things I Hate About You is a modernization of William Shakespeare's late-16th-century comedy The Taming of the Shrew, retold in a late-1990s American high school setting. In the story, new student Cameron (Gordon-Levitt) is smitten with Bianca (Oleynik) and, in order to get around her father's strict rules on dating, attempts to get bad boy Patrick (Ledger) to date Bianca's ill-tempered sister, Kat (Stiles). 6.5 ANDY: 3 CHRIS: 4 ALEX: 6 - God I haven't seen this movie in forever but I used to love it lmao. Health Ledger and Julia Stiles' storyline outsold though. DEE: 6 - "You embarrassed the girl. Sacrifice yourself on the altar of dignity and even the score." A movie that I will treasure forever. SOLA: 7 REI: 13

Now forced to take a job as a night cleaning man in a bank, he is befriended by a gang of bank robbers who have targeted him as an accomplice to the theft they are planning. When he gets wise to the scheme and attempts to stop the robbery, things go badly awry. 12.83 DEE: 10 - Very, very good. Very underrated. REI: 11 ALEX: 12 - Honestly I almost cut this, but then I saw Isla Fisher in it so I decided to cut something else. CHRIS: 14 ANDY: 15 SOLA: 15 14. EDWARD SNOWDEN - SNOWDEN (2016) From Wikipedia: Based on the books The Snowden Files (2014) by Luke Harding and Time of the Octopus (2015) by Anatoly Kucherena, the film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Edward Snowden, a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) subcontractor and whistleblower who copied and leaked highly classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) beginning in 2013. 12.5 SOLA: 2 ALEX: 14 - F*ck the NSA, but I'm honestly not taking any time out of my day to watch a Snowden biopic. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon, Dania Ramirez, and Jamie Chung. It follows a bicycle messenger chased around New York City by a corrupt police officer who wants an envelope the messenger has. 11.83 REI: 9 CHRIS: 10 ANDY: 11 ALEX: 13 - I only watched the trailer, but the whole premise looks ridiculous and it's cracking me up. DEE: 14 - Way better than it has any right to be considering it's a movie about a bicycle messenger. SOLA: 14 12. JIRO HORIKOSHI - THE WIND RISES (2014) From Wikipedia: The Wind Rises is a fictionalised biographical film of Jiro Horikoshi (1903–1982), designer of the Mitsubishi A5M fighter aircraft and its successor, the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, used by the Empire of Japan during World War II. The film is adapted from Miyazaki's manga of the same name, which was in turn loosely based on both the 1937 novel The Wind Has Risen by Tatsuo Hori and the life of Jiro Horikoshi. 10.83 CHRIS: 6 DEE: 9 - See my write-up in the Film Rankdown for more on my feelings about this movie. It's phenomenal. But I am personally a sub > dub person. REI: 10 ANDY: 12 SOLA: 13 ALEX: 15 - I should've done more research and cut this, I hate English dubs. Done dirty in every Disney Rankdown, glad it can finally thrive in one! CHRIS: 7 SOLA: 9 ANDY: 10 DEE: 13 REI: 14
  12. Fingers crossed for "Loca (feat. El Cata)" and "Perro Fiel." And surely "Hips Don't Lie," "Waka Waka," and "Whenever, Wherever" will be advanced too, right?
  13. I'm advancing "La Bicicleta" to the penultimate round.
  14. Could you advance something else? That was going to be my pick to send straight to the finals.
  15. I’ll probably just advance Spanish songs during the Shakira round.
  16. CARBINK Classified as the Jewel Pokémon, Carbink is a dual Rock and Fairy type introduced in Gen VI. Its design is likely inspired by the carbuncle, a mythological creature said to look like an animal with a jewel or mirror on its forehead. However, Carbink looks more like an ore than an actual animal. Despite its similarities to Diancie and the fact they are both known as the Jewel Pokémon, Carbink cannot evolve. As for its Pokédex entry, it is noted how Carbink defends itself by firing beams from its head. There are also stories that underneath the surface of the world, Carbink live with their queen in a kingdom of jewels. This queen is likely Diancie. Anyway, Carbink has very high Defense and Special Defense, but all its other stats are average. Maybe some trainers can find use for it, but it's not a Pokémon I recall ever taking out of the PC after I caught it. So, out it goes from the rankdown. And I'm saving Furfrou.
  17. AROMATISSE Classified as the Fragrance Pokémon, Aromatisse is a Fairy type introduced in Gen VI. It is the evolved form of Spritzee when traded holding a Sachet. It kind of looks like a humanoid bird with all its feathers and mask. According to its Pokédex entry, Aromatisse emits a very strong scent, ranging from sweet to foul. Its scent is so overwhelming that its fellow companions will eventually end up losing their sense of smell. As for battles, Aromatisse is very slow, so Trick Room is a move trainers should consider teaching their Aromatisse if they want to strike first in battle. Anyway, Aromatisse isn't a Pokémon I would consider a favorite of mine, so out it goes from the rankdown. And I'm saving Machamp.
  18. Cut Aromatisse and Carbink Save Machamp and Furfrou
