  1. Based on absolutely nothing ( ), I will guess Giraffe to be unmasked first from Group A. Need to hear them sing though.
  2. Nostalgic Bad Reputation Tie It Up Some picks from my short list.
  3. Since we have a new forum, I thought we could create separate threads for each week. We'll see how much activity this gets, but there were usually a few pages of discussion per episode last season!
  4. omg I love when they do this segment on Ellen, but never imagined it as a full show. I would watch, of course.
  5. I should still have a choice left as well. I only chose four.
  6. That's always fun to see! Ah, I knew who Rottweiler was the second I heard him in a commercial. Oh wow, I'm sure you're done by now! It's actually Night Angel. But oh darn, you didn't list my favorites. True about the monsters, although I wouldn't have approved that. Have you seen the costumes for the new season yet? It premieres tomorrow! Also, so sorry I'm so late. I got behind on so much stuff and will be going out of town soon too, so I'll be behind again. But I'm still here! 012. Maddie Poppe - Going Going Gone: Not a favorite of mine, and it also reminded me of Phillip. I much preferred Gabby and Caleb's songs (of course, they were also my big favorites), but will say this song has grown on me. 011. Just Sam - Rise Up: I like this song in general, but a bit hard for me to compare to the others, in large part because it's a cover. 010. Phillip Phillips - Home: I didn't like this song at first, but it definitely grew on me over time. Hearing it a lot helped that. "It was thought he was going to get a sappy song with a bunch of high notes he would struggle to hit" I will commend Phillip and the song for its great success! That always makes me happy to see from Idol alums, even if they aren't favorites of mine. "Phillip is never going to win gold when it comes to vocal gymnastics;" Nice Olympics pun. 009. Jordin Sparks - This Is My Now: I really loved this song at the time (still do), and agree with your comments on Jordin's vocals and her conviction with the lyrics. I played this a lot. 008. Kris Allen - No Boundaries: I love this for Kris and what he brings to the song. It definitely worked for him more than Adam. 007. Nick Fradiani - Beautiful Life: I do like this song and think it was not only a good fit for Nick, but sounded like it had the potential to be a contemporary hit. 006. Ruben Studdard - Flying Without Wings: Even though this is also a cover, I first knew it from Idol, so it's very much Ruben's song to me. I absolutely love him singing on this song. It still gives me the fuzzy feels. 005. Trent Harmon - Falling: This is different for a coronation single, but I also really like Trent's voice on this and the feeling of it. I forgot Keith wrote the song, but agree with your thoughts! 004. Fantasia - I Believe: Not a Fantasia fan, but this is one of the more memorable coronation songs. I still loved Diana's version, as I just much prefer her voice, but this is known as Fantasia's song. I really like it as a song itself and Tamyra did a great job in writing it. 003. Carrie Underwood - Inside Your Heaven: I'm pleasantly surprised this ranks so high because I feel it gets a lot of flack from even big Carrie fans. I still love it and it's nostalgic to me. I tried to be a bit more objective (if that's even possible) with my vote, but my heart would have this higher than I did. Love Carrie's vocals on this so much and it definitely suits her better than Bo, lol. 002. David Cook - The Time Of My Life: I totally forgot they whipped this one out for the first time on the actual finale when it's not what he sang the previous night. I love this song and didn't care for Dream Big. I love the melody of this and David's voice on it. I do wonder how Archie's version would have sounded. Unless he wouldn't have sung this. Things we'll never know, I guess. But this is definitely one of my favorites! 001. Kelly Clarkson - A Moment Like This: The original, classic, nostalgic, and the best. I never get tired of listening to this. I still get all the emotional feels listening to this. It's so special and Kelly sounds wonderful on it, of course. Love the idea to rank swan songs! Honorable Mention: Vonzell Solomon: I definitely remember and loved this performance. It is odd how it was a group performance, but Vonzell was a stand out and I can still hear her vocals in my head! Such an amazing moment for her to go out on. 014. Matthew Rogers: I remember this too and it was definitely a funny moment. I love that he was in good spirits and able to do that. I liked his singing, as well. 013. Tyanna Jones: I love that I remember performances from S3 & 4 more than S14. Watching this back, I totally agree! Tyanna was really strong and commanded the stage in this. I think this was one of her better performances! 012. Kimberley Locke: Definitely a great one from Kim. She sounds fantastic and I wouldn't have known she was just eliminated prior to this either. It was very classy. 011. Siobhan Magnus: This was a good, solid performance! It doesn't really come to mind for me as one of the stand out swan song performances, but it was very strong from her.
  7. My next choice (another I wore out listening to on repeat back in the day): Just Missed the Train
  8. I have no idea how to predict at all. The ranking has been fine enough for me so far. I wonder when the first female character will appear.
  9. Ah okay, that makes sense as a tie-breaker. In that case they would have won, so you really had all the power.
  10. I'm disappointed Malik Dope and Max Major missed out on the finals. I didn't take much notice of Malik in the earlier rounds, but this performance amazed me. I always liked Max and mentalists in general. Oh, and would have liked Jonathan Goodwin to advance too. There are so many singers, so will see how it goes.... I wouldn't be surprised to see Brandon Leake take it all.
  11. I just realized.... if Elliott had ranked Little Mix at #5 (because he said they're actually in his top 5), their average would have been 5.6 to tie Samantha for the win. How would that have been broken @*Chris?
  12. I am reading them! It's just taking awhile because I saw all the Top 4 posted at once and there's so much to read. I just finished Little Mix.
  13. Wow... I had Samantha in my Top 2, so I had no part in this, aside from possibly helping her rank somewhat higher with the public.
