Casey Bishop if she keeps it up with the right song selection and really selling it to the audience. She has a great rocker vibe. All she has to do is pick great songs where she can really showcase that and shine. I would love to see her do We Will Rock You by Queen.

I always have loved Paula Abdul and she was great being a guest judge this season. I also would be happy if Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Adam Lambert, and Katy Perry were the four American Idol judges next season.

Has Wyatt Pike disclosed the specific reason that he left the show yet? There was a rumor that it had to do with a physical fight that he and Luke Bryan allegedly got into (where Wyatt allegedly punched Luke in the face) but Luke’s wife said that an alleged physical fight never happened.

I meant this pattern: American Season 1 (Fox’s first season was won by a female:Kelly Clarkson) ABC’s first season (Maddie Poppe) Season 2 - Ruben Season 2 - Laine Season 3 (both versions female) Season 4 FOX (Carrie Underwood) I think I get where you’re heading with what you’re saying, but Maddie and Just Sam being dropped from Hollywood Records doesn’t change the fact that they won American Idol.

It’s honestly hard to say because we don’t know which American Idol Season 18 returnee made the Top 10. The first three seasons of FOX’s American Idol and first three seasons of ABC’s have the same pattern so far of a female winner, male winner, and female winner. If the pattern continues, that would mean another female would win. For me, I think the winner is going to be Casey Bishop.

I decided to just for the fun of it use a website that randomly picks name out of a hat sort of. I complied all the names of celebrities that people said on here, put some American Idol alumni on the list, the original three American Idol judges, and a few other names that weren’t mentioned on here. The four names that were picked as judges were Adam Lambert, Adele, Ed Sheeran, and Kellie Pickler.

That is the best variety I have seen as of yet. You got your pop artist (Charlie Puth), rock artist (Nile Rodgers), country artist (Shania Twain), and pop/R&B/rap artist (Lizzo). There is a good possibility though like someone had said before that they might just keep Katy, Lionel, and Luke and not add in a fourth judge at all.

I was thinking Lady Gaga. I could do see her be a judge on American Idol. I don’t know how soon Demi Lovato will be able to go tour with the pandemic. So being a judge on American Idol could be good for Demi Lovato to do in the meantime.

Well considering they do the Oscars on Sunday every year, I doubt that they would change that this year. They could of done the Seasme Street special on a different day though.

No because the Oscars are on Sunday night and the Seasme Street Special is on Monday night instead.

In regards to the Wyatt Pike clue, there was a rumor going around that he got in a physical fight with Luke Bryan and Wyatt Pike allegedly punched Luke Bryan in the face. The rumor was that was why Wyatt Pike stopped doing the show and that was why Luke Bryan stayed home (when really it was COVID). That rumor has been disputed by Luke Bryan’s wife though. It just comes to show though that people will do anything to start crazy rumors like that one.

Bebe Rexha would be perfect. She was great as an advisor on The Voice.

Well if they are doing American Idol Season 20 with four completely different judges, I would pick any of the ones that you mentioned. If not, first choice for female would be Adele. For male, first choice would be Post Malone because he can do everything (pop, rock, rap, country, etc).

I saw someone say Taylor Swift or Billie Eilish. Billie Eilish I feel is too young, but Taylor Swift has so much to offer as a singer and songwriter. I saw someone on Twitter recommend Selena Gomez. I can see her be a good judge too. If they did a male artist, I would go for Adam Lambert, Charlie Puth, or Ed Sheeran.

Adam Lambert would be great, but if they’re keeping the three they have now, a fourth judge should be female to even it out.

As talented as Justin Bieber is, I can’t realistically see him being a judge for the show. He doesn’t have much experience as a musician. He’s a big international pop sensation, but that’s about it. If this is to get back at The Voice for getting Ariana Grande as a coach for their next season, it will go completely haywire. At least with Ariana, while she is one year older than him (she’ll be 28 in June), she’s not only known for being an international super star. She has experience doing theater, being an actress, being successful with Christmas music, etc. Also, if they are keeping the original three judges and are just adding one more, the next choice should be a female singer to balance out the judge’s table. With Demi Lovato’s relatively new album Dancing With The Devil... The Art Of Starting Over coming out and being reported as the biggest female pop album debut of the year and already having experience judging a singing competition, in my opinion, she would make a better alternative to have on American Idol.

Something I found interesting is the pattern I have noticed of the genders between the winners of the FOX version and ABC version of American Idol. ABC/Ryan Seacrest is deciding to refer to Season 19 as Season 4. The first three seasons of FOX it was girl, boy, and girl. It was also the same thing for the first three seasons of ABC American Idol reboot (girl, boy, girl). If the pattern keeps going, I anticipate that a girl will win this season. Of the remaining girls, I really like Grace Kinstler and Casey Bishop.
