24 hours until the premiere!

The live discussion threads are definitely interesting, since you get initial reactions to performances and results. There are also some users that only participate in those threads and not the other threads on the site, and some of comments are definitely harsher than on most threads

I can’t watch the show live, so I will most likely watch the YouTube videos and read the thread

Kala could be in Episode 2. She doesn’t fit in the Blake narrative

I only liked her battle and to an extent, her playoff. I didn’t care for the rest

Yeah most people didn’t have the best week that week. It made sense considering the point of the week was to challenge the artists. I’m pretty sure I gave GNT points for entertainment value.

If they’re trying to show all of the blocks in the premiere, this is probably what they’re going for -NOIVAS opens, since he is a 4 Chair Block. -Holly is shown around the middle, since Kelly’s block failed -Laura is right after Holly, since Kelly successfully blocked Blake -Neil closes, since Blake used his block and got the artist.

That’s odd. There haven’t been any one and done coaches in the first 20 seasons, but no news on the coaches hired since then. A lot of former coaches did only 2 seasons though

The three chair turns we have so far -Holly Brand (K) -Sheer Element (K) -Laura Littleton (N) -Kylee Dayne (B) -Grace West (B) -Tasha Jessen (B) At least two will be in the premiere, and we’re probably getting another in Episode 2. I assume there will be at least one more of these.

There are going to be more auditions than those in Week 1, and they won’t montage anyone. There are typically at least 8 auditions that turned chairs in the premiere, and Episode 2 usually has 5 shown in full

I agree with that. She definitely felt like a joke act to me. I wish Kendra was the non-country contestant Blake pushed that season, since her audition was way better than Kim’s, and deserved more chair turns.

I actually started labeling the blocks without realizing, but I can fix them. I do remember which singers got blocks so that’s fairly easy. There were some seasons where no blocks were leaked as well.

Same. Her battle was amazing. I think I liked it so much because that was one of the only performances where she didn’t rap

I think Love on the Brain is my favorite Kim performance too. I definitely preferred powerhouse Kim to jazzy Kim

Ray made the Semis after all, and beat out another 4 Chair Artist. Even if he wasn’t necessarily “stronger”, he must have been really good

I think NOIVAS is the confirmed TCO at this point, not like it’s surprising to anybody. I think being pimped and on Team Blake should be enough if he stays consistent, but we’ll see what happens. I am interested to see the other contestants’ auditions though, including a lot of eliminated contestants.

So excited that NOIVAS is the leak. I enjoyed this performance a lot and I’m excited to see more from him

Favorite is between Morgan Myles and NOIVAS (need to watch NOIVAS more to know) 3. Katie Kadan 4. Victor Solomon 5. Tamara Jade 6. Nelson Cade III 7. Vaughn Mugol 8. Kim Cherry Mixed overall, since I liked some leaks and felt that others were meh (and I hated Kim Cherry’s audition).

I shouldn’t be surprised that NOIVAS is the leak, considering they usually leak people for the premiere that made a voting round

I was shocked at NOIVAS’s growl, but I realized that I like it, and I feel like it will make him stand out. I like singers that have a uniqueness to them, and I feel like NOIVAS has that. I’m here for his soul/rock blend

Amazing audition. I would have turned within the first ten seconds. It was nice to see all four chairs turn quickly. I can definitely understand how he went the rock direction in later performances, since he has that rock edge to his voice.
