Considering John just... doesn't seem to have any sort of care for when his songs are covered on the show, it shouldn't be surprising he chose Mandi. Since Nick is obviously who TPTB are pushing for, don't be shocked to see Thunderstorm's chance of winning skyrocket come lives. Assuming he can generate the fanbase to beat the yeehaws which singers of his type typically don't

Do you really think that any coach aside from Nick is winning this season? The Voice freaking made Nick's face their profile picture on premiere day, and named themselves "#1 Nick Jonas Stan". It's so obvious they're gonna push hard for him.

So far both episodes had more viewers compared to last season but a lower demographic by 2/10ths of a point. Not too bad so far.

Blake’s usually pretty powerful with his African American girls. i mean he got Kyla, Spensha and Aliyah Moulden to the finale, and all of them got the PV in bloodbath.

Both shows had the same demo ratings for the premiere.

Is that bad? I expected the numbers to be a bit higher than that.

Season FIVE was the last time no contestants from the premiere made the finale. Chances are high that anyone placed early in the premiere went decently far. Edit: Holy crap, I just looked at all of the past seasons, season 5 is the ONLY season where no one from the premiere made the finale.

I’ll admit I’m not really thrilled with this premiere lineup. The only one I’m really invested in is Joanna, but maybe someone else will be enjoyable.

Very curious to see how this will go. I think the premiere will be higher than the S17 premiere (and will crack 9M viewers), but I wouldn't be too surprised to see fractional ratings in the second half of the season.

yea i agree, Nelson's audition was mediocre imo but at least they leaked a 4-chair turn where a coach used their block. Kim's audition being leaked was just... extremely baffling. Especially because she only turned 2 chairs and her audition was not worth being leaked, even moreso being for the PREMIERE.

Wait, there’s gonna be 24 contestants in the KOs, but there’s 3 Monday shows between the battles and the top 17. Since Monday KOs have 6 pairs per episode, they can get through all KOs in 2 weeks.

Welp it's official... 4 weeks of auditions, 3 weeks of battles and 3 weeks of KOs.

For the record, 10/13 weeks of this season will be pre-taped. That's about 77% of the entire season. So yeah, over 3/4ths of this entire season has already been recorded.

As someone who’s actually seen it... it’s just... bad. it’s really cringey and I just don’t find it funny at all. I gave it one episode and that was it

Wow... so it's basically gonna be impossible to get invested in anyone over the course of the season, because by the time the taped portions are done the entire season will be nearly over!
