  1. Although in fairness everyone is more digestible then Dan because he's just not good.
  2. @*Christurn now! The pressure is on for him to see if he can do better than Wally at guessing.
  3. Congrats to our top 5! Danielle Bradbery "Worth It" Carrie Underwood "Cry Pretty" Kacey Musgraves "Space Cowboy" Kelsea Ballerini "I Hate Love Songs" Brett Young "Mercy"

  5. 6. "Doin' Fine" - Lauren Alaina 8.75 Steven 4 Gigi 4 Victoria 6 Wallace 6 Diana 6 Chris 11 QK 13 Akshar 20 Comments: Steven: I probably heard this before on one of Denise's year-end music lists, but I don't remember how it goes. So, I had to give it another listen. And you know what? This was actually really good. Easily one of her best songs along with "Road Less Traveled." I think I prefer "Doin' Fine" between the two even if "Road Less Traveled" was the bigger hit. Wallace: I was hoping that Lauren would have a song in the finals, so I'm glad Diana and I were able to advance "Doin' Fine." I like how Lauren starts off the verses in a vulnerable and softer way of singing. But then she belts out and pours her heart and emotion in through the chorus. She really builds up the song with great power. Speaking of, the chorus is really powerful with the lyrics she's singing. The bridge is another strong and powerful part I enjoy too. Beautiful song! Chris: Lauren really found her sound during this era, and this song is no exception as it is certainly a bop! QK: I am kinda surprised that Steven was the tied for the highest ranking on this song. I thought I was going to rank this higher than 13 but when I was assembling my list it just kinda ended up there. I almost moved it up a couple of spots which would have vaulted it into 5th place but I was too lazy to mess with my rankings so I just left it at 13. Uncertain why Akshar ranked it #20.
  6. just noticed that 6 and 5 are only separated by 1 point too. But 6 is coming up now!

  8. 7. "Slow Burn" - Kacey Musgraves 9.875 Chris 2 Akshar 3 Diana 7 Victoria 8 QK 10 Gigi 13 Steven 18 Wallace 18 Comments: Chris: Let it be know that "Slow Burn" is one of the best song on "Golden Hour", from the lyrics to the vocals to the storytelling . (Note : This song is essentially tied with my #1) QK: I like slowburn and Kacey but my personal top 10 was just so loaded this year that 10th is the best I could give it. Sorry Chris. Steven: Pretty vocals from Kacey in this track. It just didn't make much of an impact on me, but maybe it could grow with more listens? Wallace: "Slow Burn" is a Kacey song I've heard through IDF but I'm not sure how much or often I heard this. But this is a really nice and pretty song from Kacey. She pours a lot of emotion here, sells the song well and sounds very pretty on this. This has a nice, relaxing and very easy listening sound to it. I can't say it's a big favorite of mine amongst this list as it's a little too mellow and I would like a little more build up. Sorry to Kacey fans for this ranking, but I am certain this will still rank well.
  9. You need to have Gigi teach you how to have good comebacks. Or at least ones that makes sense.
  10. Yeah basically this. You also have the possibility of becoming so pimped that you quit the show because you no longer need it.

  12. 8. "Babe" - Sugarland Featuring Taylor Swift 10.00 Diana 2 Gigi 3 Steven 5 Wallace 7 Akshar 12 Chris 12 QK 19 Victoria 20 Comments: Steven: This is a song that had to grow one me when it was first released. It's pretty catchy, especially the chorus. I admit I now prefer the Taylor only version that's included in Red (Taylor's Version) though. Wallace: This is a really nice song from Sugarland and Taylor. Jennifer sounds really good and sells the song very well. Taylor sounds nice on the background/chorus section of the song but I do wish she had more parts here. Although at the same time, her parts fits in well. But at least there's a Taylor version that came out years later. But yeah Jennifer brings so much emotion here and I do like how she powers through towards the end. She really shines here. Chris: Two artists that I love - Sugarland & Taylor Swift - on a song together ? You know that I absolutely love it (I was glad that we had the Taylor's version of it!). While I love it, I couldn't bring myself to rank it any higher than this as I prefer the other songs ranked above it slightly more. QK: Honestly this song isn't very good. Taylor and Sugarland have much better songs then this. But since this is a "Taylor" song some people are gonna rank in it in their top 3 out of blind loyalty. At least it didn't make it into the top 5.
  13. A lot IDF users loves there belting divas. She's really not that great compared to other belter's but she's the only one on the season so she's gonna get their support.

  15. 9. "Potential - Danielle Bradbery 10.75 QK 5 Gigi 5 Victoria 9 Steven 11 Wallace 13 Akshar 13 Chris 15 Diana 15 Comments: QK: For Danielle songs at least from this era anyways Worth It and Potential are 1A and 1B. I would say this is my second favorite Danielle song but I think the couple of songs that she released in 2022 are probably better than it but it's second favorite prior to that at least! Steven: Danielle sounds great on this track. The lyrics are a neat twist on a love song too. Wallace: I feel the least familiar with "Potential" out of the Danielle Bradbery songs, as this is one I least remember from her. But that doesn't take away from this song, because this is still a really nice and pretty song. I do like all of the different vocal choices and range she showcases in this song. It's all very heartfelt and meaningful from her. I do really like those I'm not in love with you and I'm in love with your potential parts she sings in the chorus. Chris: I surprisingly enjoyed this one, as a non-Danielle fan, but not as much as the other songs above it. This song is probably better than "Worth It", in my opinion, but I am awarding her biggest fan with the ranking of his choice which was to have "Worth It" higher than "Potential"
