This Is 40 Do I feel sorta bad for cutting a movie with Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd? A little. Do I feel a lot better bc I'm finally making this cut and helping end Chris' round of noms? Absolutely. So since the good outweighs the bad, that makes it so much easier. This is 40 is comedy released on 2012, and it acts as a sorta sequel to Knocked Up, a movie that was released on 2007, and for that it's not in the rankdown (yeah, we have added pointing out obvious things to my repertoire, a new low for me). The film had mixed reception, with people praising the cast and acting, but the length of the film and lack of direction was an issue. ggwp. Save: Killing Them Softly

Carly Rose Sonenclar I have been putting this off but eh time to get it over with. She kinda fell in that "really talented but I don't feel anything for most of her performances" category for me. Should she have won out of that F3 tho? Absolutely, but when you are in company of No Harmony and Tate that goes by default (a hissing cat should be able to beat those two without any issues, but the audience of singing competitions love their questionable decisions and results). She hasn't been that active since the show (which I find kinda shocking, she always gave off that extremely driven and determined vibe), but she released some singles last year, so that's something I guess. Bc let's be real, the only thing Haley has going for her is using sex appeal to last a little bit longer on AI, bc her performance were clearly not it (but then again, so many people can't sing at all and have ok careers in music, so she might be robbed in that way?). But this is just talking in circles to get to the 100 word mark, so if you read this, joke's on you. Hugo I said it before: The Hunchback of Notre Dame would be better without the gargoyles. It's pretty obvious what they were going for with all 3 of them, comic relief side-characters that have populated pretty much every animated Disney movie ever made. The issue: The Hunchback of Notre Dame's tone doesn't gel that well with that. They are jarring more than they are funny, and that's a shame bc the movie could have done something more outside of the box with them. Hugo is the more openly comical of the 3, and is the one that clashes the most with the rest of the film. He does have a few fun moments with the goat, but I would still like the movie more with a different take on the gargoyles or without them entirely. Save: Pinnochio

Aurora Do I think the OG Disney princesses are terrible characters? No. Do I think they are incredibly boring and that the studio has made a ton of progress into making them actually fleshed out characters as the years have passed? Yes, and thank god for that. Aurora is one of the OG plain Janes, she is nice, pretty, meek, can sing pretty, and is looking for the love of her life. She was also a non-entity for the big climax of her movie bc of the curse making her be asleep and all that. TBH they were really making the most out of the idea of girls wanting to be princesses bc they accomplished really little with her. But at least we are in a better place now and she was part of the journey to get here, so respect for that and only that. Save: Zeus

Nakoma On an extremely similar vein, yeah, Nakoma can go too. Her role is very much just being that more careful friend that just wants the best for you but causes a mess in the process lmao. She's also a foil to Pocahontas tbh, where Pocahontas is free-spirited and adventurous, she's serious and responsible. Which are not bad traits to have per se, but they don't really make you that appealing of a character (also just 2 traits is not a personality let's call a spade a spade). Also about that mess? She snitched and that's pretty much the reason Kocoum ended up dead lol. We love a good plan, but we stan a messy execution. Anyway, she has little to add besides that, so out she goes. Save: Robert

Kocoum Well since I nominated him on my last set, and the wonderful opportunity to cut him (& Nakoma) is here, time to get work. He is a character from the movie Pocahontas, and was actually meant to marry Pocahontas before her dream and John Smith appeared to ruin his party lmao. He's a strong warrior and described as very serious. With what I have just stated here you have pretty much all that his character encompasses tbh, he's a foil to John Smith, and the catalyst to some of the movie's beats. He doesn't add much more (bc they didn't add that much more into making him), so this is a cut I'm completely fine making. Sorry to anyone that likes the movie/him more? Save: Cass

Just Go With It I will save the gif machine that is Bad Teacher over pretty much anything remaining in the list right now. But cutting a terrible Adam Sandler movie is a nice bonus. Just Go With It is a romantic comedy released in 2011, and stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Nick Swardson and Brooklyn Decker (was Nicole Kidman short on cash at the start of the decade? I need a reason for this tbh). The premise is simple (and if the last movie I cut was a mess regarding origins, this one goes further: it's based on a movie, that was based on the adaptation of a play, that was based on Fleur de cactus, a french play. MESS). TL;DR guy gets cheated on, then lives his entire adult life using a fake marriage as an excuse to have flings till he tries to have a relationship with someone he just met, just to end up on a relationship with someone he has known for years. It's terrible, and will live on forever in repeats on tv sadly (it was decently successful commercially). Anyway, bye. Save:
