  1. Fa Zhou He’s a nice character but we are at the point were pretty much everyone is a noce character, plus for me he seems like a really obvious plot device (I mean duh he doesn’t do anything beyond setting the movie in motion, gtfo and reappear at the end), so that puts him as next in line for a boot. He’s Mulan’s father and the only man in the family, so when the conscription call comes, he wants to go even tho he’s a retired war hero that’s injured and old. After Mulan takes the armor and runs away, he doesn’t appear again until the end of the movie, when she returns home as the savior of China. So yeah, pretty obvious plor device, but he’s a decent father, so yeah. Good job getting this far. Save: iconic legend, bane of aquariums, shaker of water bags, Darla The First
  2. since alex apparently fell asleep and I wanna change one of my cuts: save Darla cut Cleo cut FaZhou
  3. save Pacha (Emperor’s New Groove) cut Cleo (Pinocchio) Mayor Lionheart (Zootopia)
  4. I know right? What a plot twist
  5. Spectre Bond movies are hit or miss for me, and that rings especially true for the Daniel Craig era (I liked Casino Royale and Skyfall, didn't like Quantum of Solace and this one, let's see how No Time To Die ends up for me). The movie was also directed by Sam Mendes (who also directed Skyfall for the franchise) and has a few returnees from the MI6 team that supported Bond in Skyfall (Q, Eve Moneypenny, the new M) as well as a new set of villains represented by SPECTRE and Ernst Stavro Blofeld (played by Christoph Waltz). The film currently holds the distinction of the most expensive Bond movie. It also won an Academy Award for Writing's On The Wall, which was a meh song but that year had nothing to contend with it, so I don't really mind. The Radiohead song for the movie was way better, they could have used that and put Sam to sing it tbh. Anyway this is enough for the movie. Save: Biutiful
  6. Vixey I'm back from my break, my headache is here to stay (like it's been for the entire day) so I'll get this done quickly and GTFO. Vixey is the female fox on the movie, and the romantic interest for Tod (I'm starting to blame Disney for the birth and rise of furries thanks to these write ups about animals lmao). She's way more used to nature than Tod is, and at the start they don't really get along at all lol. But by the power of Disney songs they fix things up and are on their way to be romantic interest and having a family (ok, this is actually somewhat hinted but still, why????). She's also a minor part of the endgame, where Amos is trying to hunt Tod and her. She survives that. That's all for her?
  7. i decided I’m taking a break to eat something and chill so I’ll make my second cut in 1-2 hrs. If anyone wants to cut/save Vixey it’s okay, I’ll work with what’s left when i come back
  8. lmao why did I pick this advantage (?) cut Vixey (FOX AND THE HOUND)
  9. Naima Adedapo She is one of those interesting contestants that we have almost every season, that sound really cool and fun on paper, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired most of the time. Naima started pretty well on season 10, with good performances in the semifinals and the wildcard. Then all went to hell since the show relies a lot on live singing, and her skills aren’t really there lbr, she is a performer and an entertainer above a vocalist. So we got meh to bad performances from her till she was eliminated during the F11 redux along with Thia. Still, happy that the show sometimes takes chances like this, hopefully they would support it a little better (a broader catalogue of song choices like I have been begging since forever) but yeah, time for her to go. Save: Felicia Barton
  10. save Felicia Barton cut Naima Adedapo
  11. Gurgi I’m not a big fan of The Black Cauldron, and I’m a fan of a lot of the movies left represented by the remaining characters, so this was the easiest cut for me. Gurgi is a ???? (honestly don’t know what he is, it’s like a mix between a raccoon and a small child?). He’s a coward for most of the film and loves apples. Most of his development in the film is regarding him being a coward, and overcoming that by sacrificing himself for his friends by jumping into the Cauldron. He does get revived in the end, so that worked out well for him ig? Anyway, good job getting him this far. Save:
  12. cut Gurgi (THE BLACK CAULDRON) save Ernesto de la Cruz (COCO)
  13. The Hundred-Foot Journey At this point I should make all my decisions via randomizer lol. Can’t wait for my faves to leave once the randomizer turns on me, but it would be funny. Anyway, onto whatever The Hundred-Foot Journey is. It’s a dramedy focused on the battle between two restaurants, one new and owned by an Indian family that got there after fleeing India, and the other an established and successful one, that already boasts a Michelin star. It sounds like everything I avoid in shows (I never watch cooking shows if I can help it) so I doubt this would speak to me, but eh maybe if I wanna see Helen Mirren act in something? Save: The Accountant
  14. cut The Hundred-Foot Journey save The Accountant
  15. Max Stone He was filler from Louisa’s season, that’s about the extent of what I remember from him. He made every song he sang absolutely boring for his entire run, and got booted relatively early into the live shows bc of that (he placed 9th overall, getting the boot on week 3). Also the entire Overs category was a mess that year, but they were clearly pushing for a Louisa win, so most categories had maybe 1 good act except for the Girls one. Anyway, finally he’s out of here, he slipped this far, no reason to keep him here longer. Save: Wagner
  16. cut Max Stone save Wagner
  17. Michael Lynche I don't like either for their Idol run (Lauren has a bit of upside for some of her post-show music), but I hated season 9 enough to stop watching the show, so duh I'm gonna cut anyone from that season if they are an option (sorry to Crystal, even tho she was talented I never really cared, but that's not even an issue here since she got cut already). Anyway, onto Michael Lynche, he was originally eliminated at 9th, and got the judges save (he was the second contestant saved after Matt Giraud the previous season) and like Matt, he was kinda meh so why really save him? I guess they just had to use it, but honestly I kinda wish they had done what they did on season 12 more often, the only person that screamed for a save was Pia and well, y'all saw what happened. He was passable as an R&B/sould guy, but we have seen way better, both before (George Huff pre-losing his voice) and after (Joshua Ledet). So he can gtfo. Save: Lauren
  18. save Lauren Alaina cut Michael Lynch
  19. i feel personally attacked by this rankdown jk
  20. Alisah Bonaobra LOL this mess. The only thing I remember about her was her constant eliminations during the pre-lives only to then be brought back again and again, making the lives and then getting cut pretty early (tbh that season 14 format left little room to hide if you werent a production or fan fave). Also the amount of times she cried on TV.... I feel Alex would be all the way here for her journey lol. Sadly she was also that belting diva that we get all the time so she wasn’t even funny to watch perform, just boring. Anyway, about time she left Save: LMA Choir
  21. cut Alisah save LMA choir
  22. Atta I think I mentioned it on the Disney movies rankdown: I’m super meh on A Bug’s Life. Idk what it is, but I never really cared for it? It’s probably the Pixar movie I give less f*cks about (at least Cars is fun to drag and talk about). So, that transmits to my feeling about Atta. She a good character, her nervous demeanor and obsession with having things under control is understandable, and how she progresses through the film into a more relaxed and confident princess (then queen) is nice to see. But like, I dont care. So that makes this an easy cut for me.
  23. Seven Psychopaths I was gonna do this before having lunch but food>>>>>>>writing so here we are, 40 something minutes later. At least I got a deal out of this with no effort so we love my bare minimum energy and attitude. Onto whatever this movie is. It’s a comedy released in 2012, it stars Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken and was directed by Martin McDonagh. It got good reviews and has 82% on RT and 66 on Metacritic, so at least it must be decent ig. I have been requested to make this longer, so im just gonna talk and talk in circles till i get there. Am i done? probably, but just making sure of it save: the other one with the lone title
