  1. save This Is The End (bc I have to) cut X-Men: Dark Phoenix (bc I want to)
  2. is the front page updated?
  3. Safe: Dimitrius Graham Group A Laine Hardy Laci Kaye Booth Burnell Taylor Group B Sam Woolf Stefano Langone Tim Halperin
  4. tbh I hate when someone has an Oscar-worthy performance (and doesn’t get it) and then it’s bend over backwards time to justify why a good not great performance gets the honor later (sometimes in turn shafting someone else lol).
  5. someone save Rachel for her legendary run (exageration, but her placements still send me)
  6. Just Mercy Well I didn’t lose any favourites on this round so bless my luck lol. But I have to cut something and well, this was the first suggestion I got Just Mercy is a legal drama (based on a true story for anyone that cares about that) that tells the story of Walter McMillian, who, with the help of young defense attorney Bryan Stevenson, appeals his murder conviction. It was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, Rob Morgan, Tim Blake Nelson, Rafe Spall, Karan Kendrick and Brie Larson. Foxx got a nod at the SAGs for his role. Anyway, I will throw myself in front of a car for cutting a film with Brie Larson, but something has to go. Save: The Revenant
  7. save The Revenant cut Just Mercy
  8. I will take request on what to cut if anyone has one btw (I have only seen Revenant out of those 4)
  9. me looking at what happened after I logged off:
  10. Khaya Cohen More chances to get rid of XF USA contestants? Yes please. That version was pretty tragic on all its seasons, but season 3 really went for it with the lack of talent and whack eliminations. But this girl wasn’t one of them lol, she was mediocre af. She finished 10th overall on the third season, and had a pretty meh journey (she never placed above 10th in the vote lol. people were not here for her). She had like 6-7 live performances, and that already sounds like too many. Anyway, bye, thanks for the chance to eject more people from this version out of the rankdown. Save: Louisa Johnson
  11. save Louisa cut Khaya
  12. Dusty Rust-Eze *listen to ear-piece* My sources tell me it's an old car based on and voiced by one of the two guys from radio show "Car Talk" on NPR, in Cars world they founded an ointment company (no but fr bless Derek for giving me something so I don't have to put effort lmao). His brother (Rusty Rust-eze, who I'm saving bc why put more thought into this) and him have tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny roles on the first and third Cars movies, being background characters at best. NGL I'm questioning heavily my save at the moment (and the inclusion of both in the rankdown) bc lol they both deserve to go, but I'm guessing anyone can plagiarize this write up in the future for a quick win. Bye! Save: Rusty Rust-eze
  13. cut Dusty Rust-Eze save Rusty Rust-Eze
  14. What's Your Number? I know at some point near endgame I will remember having to cut terrible films fondly but I always get super bored/annoyed on these early rounds lol Anyway, this film is terrible lmao, from concept to execution. It relies on the concept of women being allowed to just sleep with a certain number of men otherwise say goodbye to your marriage options. I just typed that and wanna buy a physical copy of the movie to set it on fire. The movie stars Anna Faris and Chris Evans, and they can't really do anything to save this thing lol (they try, but there is only so much you can do lbr). Anyway, bye, congrats on being on the rankdown? Save: The Wedding Ringer, which I picked bc it was directly below this movie lol
  15. cut What's Your Number? save The Wedding Ringer
  16. Thomas This damn site just obliterated my write up on a nobody and now I have to start over? Kill me now. Anyway, basic beats: a nobody character from a meh movie that I don't like? A recipe for a cut if I ever saw one. Thomas has absolutely no personality, the only thing that makes him distinct from random colonizer #4 is that he's extremely loyal to John Smith. Yeah, he saved your life, but you could at least show some personality for the guy lol. Anything is better than this void. Aside from that, he's pretty much a plot device so that whoever ends Ratcliffe is not just a random face (that's sad). Anyway, bye, don't think anyone is gonna miss you. Save:
  17. well, there goes my sleep schedule
  18. Casino Jack I haven't seen either movie, but one has Kevin Spacey as the lead, so that has got to go. And since I know nothing about the movie, wikipedia will be heavily used and plagiarized to get me to 100 words. Anyway, the film focuses on Jack Abramoff (played by Spacey), as a lobbyist in Washington that gets involved on a corruption scandal. Said scandal got him arrested (along with several other people, among the a Representative). He was convicted on charges of fraud, tax evasion and traffic of influence (lovely). The movie is based on a real case, but I have no idea how accurate it is (it's probably somewhat inaccurate but idfc). Also Spacey got nominated for a Golden Globe, which he thankfully lost. Anyway, if anything has something to say abt it, go ahead. Save: Labor Day

  20. Anthony Russell This trainwreck story ten years in the making is everything and more that I want as material to destroy during a write up. Bc oh god he deserves it. This guy auditioned for the first time all the way back in series 4. We should have taken that as an ominous portent of how shitty he was (bc series 4 is terrible), but it went unnoticed since he was cut during bootcamp (again, the show was dropping hints all over the place, we were just dumb). He then came back, 10 YEARS later, and auditioned for series 14. He was ok, nothing special, plus the boys category had like no talent that year so he was looking like a lock for the lives (again, another subtle hint that the world was providing us: no talent). Except, he quit right before Judges Houses, and had to be replaced (he was struggling with addiction, so it was for the best that he withdrew) But then, he came back for a third time on series 15, and this time it was on. Decently pimped, he sailed through the taped rounds and finally made the live shows. And... he sucked. He was abysmal, week in, and week out. And the worse part? He was always safe. Not just safe, but high in the votes. When they revealed the votes at the end we found out he never left the Top 2 the entire season, even though he should have left like in 10th place. Except, the show did manage to finally tank him enough in the finale that he finished 3rd, thank god. Anyway, for a story that took so long to finally pan out, it was so ironic that he just was terrible at singing. At least he didn't win (like Rak-Su). Oh well, bye! Save: Davey Woder
