Just Sam would’ve had an advantage if the live shows had started earlier since she was given a lot of airtime, but it’s not really relevant anymore since they just spent 4 hours showing us the entire Top 20.

Watching it live, I preferred Jeremiah but nowadays, I remember far more of Uché than I do Jeremiah so he's probably my second favourite now.

BRIELLE VON HUGEL Brielle Von Hugel is a semi-finalist from the eleventh season who was somehow chosen to be a wildcard that season and was chosen as an immunity pick in this rankdown. As someone who vividly remembers IDF during season 11, her popularity was astonishing because her performances were... nagl. The irony of being a Garrett Jacobs fan and saying those things is not lost on me. It was like everything negative comment I had about Haley Reinhart in season 10 was somehow magnified and Brielle was the result of that. Her first performance in the Top 25 round was Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay, which was most notably done by George Huff in the third season. I made a "Who Sang It Best?" thread that week, and when I saw how many people were picking Brielle's rendition of it as the better version of the two.... Well, that was the day I lost all hope in humanity. Inexplicably, she was chosen for the wildcard round, and proceeded to butcher Adele's Someone Like You worse than one could imagine. Was Victoria not aware of this? Because I feel like she would've cut Brielle in the first round if she was.
