  1. Bruce Kanegai

Bruce placed 7th during Survivor: Panama. He may have placed even higher, if not for his iconic medical evacuation where he told his tribe mates he was unable to “pass a deuce”. Prior to that, he was quite well liked by everyone and only received votes in Week 5 from Aras and Bobby. I doubt he would have won if he made it to the end, since he seemed more of a likeable goat than a strategic mastermind, but he brought comic relief to the episodes, for example, when he showed off his martial arts skills for the locals and when he tried to get Cirie to eat raw fish like sushi. Despite his medical evacuation, he returned as part of the jury and voted for Danielle in the end, but she lost to Aras. I like Bruce and honestly think this is a good placement for someone who made it 7th and hasn’t returned since.

Save: Bradley K. because otherwise Kellyn wins Ghost Island

    I'm still lost.

Basically tomorrow at noon you will either cut someone or advance someone to the Top 24. Whatever you choose to do, you must do the opposite for the next round (so if you cut in Round 2, you advance in Round 3 or vice-versa).

    Cycle 11 - Round 2... and 3?

Now that each of you have chosen a contestant to compete in the final round of this cycle,

only 30 contestants are left for you to pick from for these next two rounds.

For Rounds 2 and 3, each of you has two powers:

the power to send someone straight through to the Top 24 and the power to automatically cut someone.

However, you must choose which action you want to take for round 2 and which one you want to take in round 3.

If you choose to send someone straight through to the Top 24, you won't be able to cut anyone until Round 3.

If you choose to cut someone, you won't be able to send someone through to the Top 24 until Round 3.

Choose wisely which power you want to use first. It could be the difference between your favourite making the Top 24 and getting cut here.

You will make your cut or save tomorrow at noon EST once I give the go-ahead.

You are not required to disclosed whether you will be cutting or saving until I make that post.

  4. Bobby Jon Drinkard (Palau, Guatemala)

    350?cb=20120615050419

I think this is a more than fair placement for Bobby Jon, considering he placed 10th and 9th respectively on his two seasons. I like him, but I like most of the other nominees more so. Anyway, Bobby Jon's write-up for Palau can be very short. As we all know, he was on the ill-fated Ulong tribe, who lost every single pre-merge immunity. Bobby Jon had the lucky distinction of being one of the last two members of that tribe along with Stephenie, but in the end, she defeated him in a fire maker challenge and went on to join the rest of the Koror members.

Bobby Jon and Stephenie returned in the next season, Guatemala. He was part of the Nakum tribe, who won the first challenge and got the better of the two camps, but was forced to hike 11 miles to get there. Bobby Jon, like many of his tribemates, was worn out after the hike and they ended up losing the first immunity challenge. They were fortunate enough to win the next two before the tribe switch on Day 12, which put Bobby Jon on Yaxha with Blake, Brandon and Danni Boatwright. They outnumbered the former Yaxha members, but Bobby Jon and Danni turned on Blake and helped vote him out. In the subsequent weeks, Bobby Jon and Danni became quite the pair, voting out Brian and Amy with the help of Gary Hogeboom. They then merged and Bobby Jon's alliance was down in numbers. He was seen as a physical threat at that point, but Stephenie managed to convince the group to spare him so he could make the jury and voted out Brandon instead. Bobby Jon was then voted out the next week and would go on to vote for Danni over Stephenie, which is kind of hilarious in hindsight, but Stephenie was also pretty insufferable that season. Anyway, that's about all there is to say about Bobby Jon. He was an interesting character in the two seasons he played, but never made the right moves to get very far.

  5. Time to clear out some fodder:

    Amy O’Hara (Guatemala, 11th)

Christine Shields Markoski (South Pacific, 13th)

    Kelly Czarnecki (Gabon, 13th)

    Laura Boneham (BvW, 12th)

    Lindsey Richter (Africa, 11th)

    Michelle Yi (Fiji, 10th)

    Natalie Cole (DvG, 15th)

    Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands, 11th)

    Ramona Gray (Borneo, 13th)

    Randy Bailey (Gabon, 8th/HvV, 18th)

    Sherea Lloyd (China, 11th)

    Stacey Powell (South Pacific, 16th)

    Tyrone Davis (Nicaragua, 16th)

    Wendy Diaz (EoE, 15th)

  6. Stephanie Johnson (Ghost Island)

Stephanie came in 16th on Ghost Island so it’s a miracle she’s still here, but I guess she was one of the few people IDF liked that season. She had the unfortunate luck of being on the Malolo tribe, who lost many immunity challenges. During the first two weeks we saw her attempt to befriend Stephanie Gonzalez and Jacob Derwin before their boots then, after the tribe swap, she and the other Malolos were subject to the whim of the Navitis, lead by Bradley. After Brendan Shapiro was sent home, Stephanie, Michael, Jenna did their best to plead their cases to the majority alliance, but in the end, Michael and Jenna sided with Naviti and voted her out to save their asses. I did think that her and some other pre-merge boots were interesting personalities that season but this is more than enough of a high placement for her as a 16th place boot on a terrible season.

    Save: Bradley K.
