What songs do you thing would be great for her to sing Disney week?

Sure they’ve had success but none of them are full blown celebrities like Kelly clarkson, Jordin sparks, Carrie underwood, etc. I didn’t mean recent idol contestants don’t have success. They just haven’t become household names or big talked about celebrities.

While that was the original goal, that hasn’t happened recently. Sure winners and maybe a couple finalists get increased exposure, but nobody has been made a star for several seasons sadly even though some deserved to be.

I’ve been hearing different things but is the top 5 Disney night tomorrow (may 6th) or next Sunday?

Tbh I agree and Emmy is my top favorite

I mean I wasn’t recently talking about mainly this season (but tbh a few people did say Emmy was being pimped), but in general, like how when iam was pimped last season, people got angry. Also quite a few people accused Maddie poppe of being pimped back in ai16 iirc. But I’ll be the first to admit I have biases too and will also not mind when my favs get pimped Also sadly I agree women of color don’t get far on the show usually (and poc and contestants from different countries/ backgrounds in general don’t get that far either ), but people need to call that out instead of being complacent, so that way production could ensure many people of various races, ethnicities, disability, background , genres, could compete on the show instead of going the easy way out and only cheering on the contestants they like that fit the “typical American idol models”

I get your point about country contestants going too far (Triston, Colin, etc.) but not many of them end up wining (like Maddie Poppe, Just Sam, and Iam Tongi aren’t country but did win and won deservedly). Country contestants don’t win all the time, but yeah I agree they shouldn’t get as far as they do.

I’m not worked up at all. Btw as shown by tonight’s reaction of calling non-country contestants country, IDF over conflates the country dilemma. Besides I don’t hear IDF complaining that the season is also overflowing with ballad singers along with country singers, to complaining that genres like jazz, reggae, R&B don’t make it far on the show. While America voters may like country singers a little to much, IDF loves white poop divas a little too much. I can call out both.

Imo ai16 wins me soley cause the best contestant of the abc era won that season. Queen Maddie forever. I enjoy some of the others in that top 5 too

Nice opinions, however I really enjoyed the ai16 top 5 (except gabby and Cade, but Cade was mostly due to him not being in my genre taste and I’ve warmed up to gabby a bit since them) also I loved iam and Zachariah in s21 and Emmy this season

By next week you mean tomorrow? Right? Also if us Emmy fans vote and tell others to vote, she may have a chance at making top 3
