Best/Favorite Season?

For me, its Season 10. I also liked Season 20 for the ABC era.

Going back and watching S1, there really is something crazy memorable about it. The fact that literally ANYONE walked in the doors that year made those with genuine vocal talent stand out even more so.

 

A lot us were disappointed in the lack of a Grace/Casey Final 2 for Season 19, but there was still a ton of variety and people could NOT STOP TALKING about the ongoing events during its airing.

I'd say Season 11, the greatest season of all time. For the ABC era, Season 19 for the relatively deep field compared to other ABC seasons.

I only watched American Idol FOX Season 9 back in 2010, not knowing Lee DeWyze was the American Idol that season. So I chose Season 9 anyway for that matter. I loved both ABC Seasons 5 (Season 20) and 6 (Season 21), because I wanted Noah to win all season and he did in the former, and we were finally given a deserving winner in the latter. Since we were to choose only one option in each section, I went with my gut and picked ABC Season 6.
