rank the 10th most overdone song: Stand By Me

Chose Mark Hood, but out of all the TV competition covers of the song I have heard, I loved American Idol S20 winner Noah Thompson’s take on this song.

Darby did the Florence version and unlike Shake It Out, I didn’t hate it, so just for that she gets my vote.

I can't remember her audition, but apparently I liked it, on my old recap I gave it an A-

 

I'd probably bump that down half a letter grade or so cause I think my ratings from back then are kinda inflated compared to what I'd give now. I remember thinking she definitely deserved more than one chair though.

I feel like most of these were good but not amazing. They weren’t huge standouts, but I didn’t think any of these were bad. It would be hard to do a ranking because I don’t really have strong opinions on these performances
