I wanted to make a new thread for one of my favorites since childhood.   

 

 

Jesse McCartney is a singer, songwriter, and actor, who got his start playing the role of JR Chandler on All My Children when he was 11 years old.  His musical career took off when he joined the boy band Dream Street as its youngest member, before later branching out into a solo career.  He released a solo EP in 2003, with his debut album Beautiful Soul released in 2004 and certified platinum.  He has released a total of four full-length albums, as well as a number of EPs and live concert albums. 

 

Jesse has starred and guest starred on a number of television series, including All My Children, Summerland, Greek, Army Wives, Young & Hungry, and many more. He has done voice work for animated shows and movies, such as Alvin and the Chipmunks, Horton Hears a Who!, Tinker Bell, and Young Justice. He has also starred in movies such as Keith, Chernobyl Diaries, and Expecting Amish. Jesse has done voice work for video games as well, most notably as the character Roxas, in the Kingdom Hearts series since 2006. 

 

He has been nominated for and won awards for his music, acting, and voice acting. Some of his award wins include Best Male Artist at the Radio Disney Music Awards for three years in a row, Choice Music: Male Artist, Choice Music: Breakout Artist - Male, and Choice Crossover Artist at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards, Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series: Young Actor and Best Performance in a TV Drama Series: Supporting Young Actor for All My Children at the 2001 and 2002 Young Artist Awards, Best Vocal Ensemble in a Television Series for Young Justice at the 2013 and 2014 Behind the Voice Actors Awards, and Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance at the 2013 Behind the Voice Actors Awards.

And it obviously hasn't been ~officially confirmed~ but I (and most everyone else) believe he is competing as the Turtle on the current season of The Masked Singer. If not, I will have to delete this post and reevaluate everything in my life.

- "At the starting line of my career, I was surrounded by other hungry newcomers"  - Jesse started his music career in the boy band, Dream Street!

- "Step by step" - good decoy clue but Jesse actually toured WITH New Kids on the Block!

- Surfboard - He played a surfer on Summerland and also won a few Teen Choice Awards!
- The grill  - he's more recently taken interest in cooking, barbecuing, grill, etc - his Twitter/Instagram bio said for a long time - "I write. I sing. And I smoke meat on the holidays" although NOW I see that last sentence has been conventionally changed to something else. I see what you did there.  

- Was there something about J-Mac mentioned or shown? I can't find it, but someone posted it. Well, J-Mac has always been a nickname of his.

- Turtle! Jesse loves the Ninja Turtles.  That's all I got on that for now.

- Most important clue of all... .THE VOICE SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE HIM.   Every flipping nuance in his voice  I've listened to Jesse for over half my life and seen him live multiple times. If that's not his voice, THEN HOUSTON, WE HAVE AN IMPOSTER.  

 

 

I swear, they better put up the full performance of this. But two seconds is more than enough to identify.  

 

Okay, I'm sure there's more and I'm gonna keep analyzing this and future videos for everything I know about him. Sorry, not sorry, but I dreamed about that voice for far too many years to be calm about this!  And now I will continue to go insane until he's officially revealed.

Or even just beets alone could refer to this, but that made it even more specific.

- "Hunt for booty" clue post-performance - he played a pirate on Fear the Walking Dead, his first movie was The Pirates of Central Park, had a voice role in The Pirate Fairy.... lots of pirate stuff to support this.  

 

Now he needs to drop some song titles in there and if he mentions recording a song from one of the panel, then we can all know it's "The Stupid Things", which I posted the other day, because that's originally a Robin Thicke song.   And hoping he makes a chipmunk reference too.

He also did an Instagram Live interview with E! Daily Pop this morning. That was a great one too.  He mentioned that the new album has been done for two months already.... hope it's released soon.   He also said something that insinuated he's been asked to compete on DWTS before.  DOO IT JESSE.
