  1. Melissa Gilbert Melissa Gilbert is an actress, best known for starring Little House on the Prairie, who competed on the 14th season of Dancing with the Stars. Melissa was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. I found Melissa mostly to be alright/average at dancing. She seemed nice but she didn't really stand out to me for most of the season and lasted a little too long, imo. Melissa danced a Cha-Cha (20), Quickstep (20), Jive (24), Paso Doble (22), Salsa (21), Viennese Waltz (24), Argentine Tango (21), Team Paso Doble with Donald & William (26), Foxtrot (24) and Samba trio with Val (27). She was the lowest scorer for 4 of those routines. But yeah I didn't care for most of these routines. But I would say my favorites from here were her Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Paso Doble. I felt that Melissa kinda was overthinking and not really relaxed into the routines. Sometimes it seemed Maks would carry/drag her a bit through the routines. But she did showcase some growth in her latter dances that I mentioned. Melissa did last 5 weeks and ~supposedly made it to 5th place. I personally think of it as her placing 6th as Roshon was eliminated earlier that night and he deserves the higher ranking, imo. I also would have preferred Jaleel to last longer too as I enjoyed his dancing more and also maybe Sherri too. But all in all, well done to Melissa making it through to the quarter finals and lasting 8 weeks.
  2. 4 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" (Foxtrot): 11 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Around the World" (Quickstep): 8 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Satellite" (Viennese Waltz): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Midnight Tango" (Tango): 17 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "El Gato Montes" (Paso Doble): 10 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Just the Two of Us" (Rumba): 3 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Sweetheart from Venezuela" (Samba): 11 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Nutbush City Limits" (Jive): 10 + Kristi & Mark Tango - Marissa & Tony Quickstep
  3. Lol well Chris can be happy with Jana's song finally showing up. I had no idea that Jamie-Lynn wrote or co-wrote this song until Chris said so. I'm #TeamBritney as well, but just judged it on Jana singing of the song, which I did enjoy though it's not my favorite of hers.
  4. Yeah I'm thinking she's probably Bottom 6 and JAX is Top 6. I just kept going back and forth.
  5. So 8 girls and 4 guys remaining. So I'm guessing all of the remaining guys are probably in the Bottom 6. I guess Ryan and Cadence will also make up the Bottom 6? Meaning Carrie, Lisa, Haley, Carly, Breanna makes the Top 6. Though maybe Haley and Cadence could be swapped? But I think Haley will have some strong support to get her a higher ranking. Oh wait, I forgot about JAX.... I could see her being in the Top 6 or Bottom 6 as I see her having lots of high and low rankings.... I don't know how to predict her, actually. Hmmm now I think Cadence makes Top 6 and JAX in the Bottom 6.
  6. Hmm I kinda can't fault Clay's Someone Else's Star making it to 7th. This is a nice performance and I do think I ranked it maybe too low but just was super boring to me. But nearly everyone's comments pretty much says it all. I do wonder how this would have done if JC participated, and if it could have made the Top 5.
  7. Ah I thought so which was why I was confused. But that's okay.
  8. Still very early days, but I'm really liking and thinking of Zeta & Timmy as the standout couple so far. Really enjoying their connection and scenes. Hopefully Timmy doesn't mess this up. Kinda bummed that nothing seemed to really happen with Sereniti & Felipe but I was kinda expecting that as no instant connection seemed to be made. Then nothing happened for the next few days. But it's better to move on and try other connections. I can see something brewing with Felipe & Courtney though. I just hope Sereniti finds someone because I don't want her to go this soon. I'm actually already kinda liking Mady & Andy and looking forward to seeing more of them. Jesse seems to be the messy contestant of the season. It's early days soo I won't criticize him/what he's feeling on his connections so far - but for him to tell Valerie different things of how he's connecting solely only with her, but he still has feelings for Deb and told Zeta that. It has me..... suspicious about him. Just hope this doesn't turn into a Cinco situation.
  9. 3 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" (Foxtrot): 11 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Around the World" (Quickstep): 9 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Satellite" (Viennese Waltz): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Midnight Tango" (Tango): 14 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "El Gato Montes" (Paso Doble): 10 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Just the Two of Us" (Rumba): 5 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Sweetheart from Venezuela" (Samba): 11 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Nutbush City Limits" (Jive): 10 + Cristián & Cheryl Samba - Marissa & Tony Quickstep
  10. - Fine with the Jack solo and the Crazy in Love rankings. Although I wouldn't have minded CIL ranking higher but I get the #19 ranking for it. - Aww I loved the "Bleeding Love" routine but I get its #18 ranking. - Bummer I wished "Flashlight" was higher. Loved this but again this was such a stacked group of dances, so I can get it showing up here.
  11. Chris why you liking this post when we eliminated this dance together? Thank goodness. Both were robbed so I'm glad they both won!
  12. This season just finds it way to get worse and worse. I just can't deal with it anymore. I'll still hold out any hope for Taylor though it looks very unlikely this time around. But at least she made it to Week 3? And lasted two weeks longer than we expected. But it's getting so boring of everyone targeting her.
  13. 2 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" (Foxtrot): 11 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Around the World" (Quickstep): 10 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Satellite" (Viennese Waltz): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Midnight Tango" (Tango): 13 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "El Gato Montes" (Paso Doble): 10 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Just the Two of Us" (Rumba): 6 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Sweetheart from Venezuela" (Samba): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Nutbush City Limits" (Jive): 10 + Jason & Edyta Foxtrot - Marissa & Tony Rumba
  14. - Good with Sophie's Very.com and Laura's Macau Tower rankings, although I do wish the Laura shot would have been her highest ranked photo. - Okay finally the Catherine Maple shot shows up. I've been waiting for awhile for this to show up and forgot this was still here. I'm with Akshar and Lily on their comments. - Oops, I forgot I ranked Laura's Silk so low. But ehh, I get the love for it but would have preferred this showing up sooner. - Oooh dangg, AzMarie's Maple shot getting all of its rankings in the Top 14 spots amongst everyone but still misses out in the Top 5. Great spot for this photo, although I wish this could have made the Top 5. Really loving this Final 5 and would be pleased with any of them winning! Well there;s one I would prefer not to win but could be okay with it.
  15. Oooh we went from #13 to #14? I never really cared for Caleb Lee, but do really like and think his WDC should have ranked higher. But also not surprised it came in 14th and don't really care that much. At least it wasn't last here again though, lol. All of the comments are understandable on this one. I'm curious what Diana is referring to in her comments as Caleb Lee didn't win? Maybe that was about Caleb Johnson?
  16. - LOL not one of my favorite Laura photos coming in last with that awful 17.5 score. - Lmao Derek's comment on Sophie's Silk shot cracks me up. I do agree with him and Alex there. - No complaints on the Annaliese and Alisha photos showing up on the first set. - Aww bummer, I wish that Sophie's Hello Kitty shot would have ranked higher. - Fine with Catherine's Phil Treacy, Laura's Maple, Louise's Very.com and Annaliese's Hello Kitty rankings. Overall, this is a really strong Top 10 here!
  17. 1 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" (Foxtrot): 10 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Around the World" (Quickstep): 10 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Satellite" (Viennese Waltz): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Midnight Tango" (Tango): 12 Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska - "El Gato Montes" (Paso Doble): 10 Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovolani - "Just the Two of Us" (Rumba): 8 Cristián de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke - "Sweetheart from Venezuela" (Samba): 10 Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas - "Nutbush City Limits" (Jive): 10 + Kristi & Mark Tango - Marissa & Tony Rumba

  19. Fine with Ashley Monroe's song coming up. It's interesting and cool how a lot of us have the same thoughts on this song. Aww I had no idea about this. Thanks for sharing this and the other post. I'm glad she's doing well and hope she continues making good progress.
  20. Enjoyable show. I do think the All-Stars breathed some life into the routines and that the contestants stepped it up. I thought everyone did really well. I would say that Alexis and Essence probably had my favorite dances but I honestly enjoyed everyone's dances. Essence in particular really impressed me and I'm so glad she had this moment! Sad to see Alexis land in the Bottom group again. I do fear of her chances of making the final and thinking she won't be there but hopefully I'm wrong.
  21. Lol I make my decisions based on how I enjoy them on the show, not what I think of them outside of the show. Although I'm not reallly taht familiar with Sara Evans' career. It was just a matter of time of when I was going to cut Sara as I was debating on her and many others for days now. I still stand by it. Although I do prefer Shannen over Bristol's S15 run, so balancing Bristol's two season run made things complicated.
  22. Sara Evans LOL there are still so many celebs I want to cut that I am really confused on which direction to go on. I could have with another super early boot but I wanted to change it up a bit with someone who lasted around mid-season whom I wasn't really a fan of, so I have chosen Sara Evans. Sara Evans is a country music singer who was partnered with Tony Dovolani on the 3rd season of Dancing with the Stars. Sara is a well known and successful country singer and has done well in her career, but her time as a dancer on DWTS was pretty average. I thought she had a few decent dances, some average dances, some bad dances, so kind of a mixed bag - but she never really had that standout dance like most of the Top 8 (sans Jerry Springer) had. She danced the following: a Foxtrot (15), Mambo (21), Jive (25), Paso Doble (20) and Samba (24). Her Foxtrot was bad and I thought her Paso Doble was dreadful. I remember she had no performance skills or connection to the dance and seemed a bit dragged around. Her Mambo & Samba were okay/cute dances. Her "These Boots Were Made for Walking" Jive was really cute and her best dance for sure. I don't know about the 9 it got, but the 8s were fair. Sara withdrew from the show at Week 6, due to the divorce she was going through which was really sad for her to go through. I don't know what's going on in her personal life but hope all is well with her. I simply just wasn't a fan of her run on the show (sans her Jive) so I'm fine with her going now.
  23. I liked her on Step by Step. You should have posted it for the LOLZ.
