  1. Yeah I knew 2021. I was saying when the official date is. As in also the month and day. Not just the year. It's obvious that it would be sometime in 2021. But it makes sense that it would be a little early at this point. I figured that if they were going to give a date that they would give the whole day.
  2. Why is there no official date yet as to when the show will start? Is it because they anticipate COVID is going to get worse. I mean it already is pretty bad.
  3. Members 5 29 posts Posted yesterday at 10:20 AM (edited) My thoughts on last night's singers Taryn Papa - She was fine, but didn't really stand out to me. Also, didn't really pick a well known song to showcase her voice in my opinion. Liam St. John - I really liked his voice and his version of Sex And Candy. Aaron Scott - I didn't like him at all. Bad song choice and he sounded downright awful in my opinion. He sounded like he was shouting and had pitch problems in my opinion. Madeline Consoer - She was very good. Liked how she did the Maren Morris song Girl. The tone and pitch in her voice was good. She had a great delivery. Cami Clune - Liked her a lot. Ryan Gallagher - Probably one of the best of that night. Chloé Hogan - Perfect song choice and she really made it her own. What The World Needs Now Is Love is a great song in general Sid Kingsley - He was very good too. I like Bob Dylan as an artist in general. So my ranking of last night's blind auditions would go like this (Best to least best) 1. Ryan Gallagher 2. Sid Kingsley 3. Chloe Hogan 4. Liam St. John 5. Madeline Consoer 6. Cami Clune 7. Taryn Papa 8. Aaron Scott
  4. I am so looking forward to Adele hosting Saturday Night Live this Saturday. She is going to do great.
  5. Also, I think Gwen Stefani is just okay as a coach in my opinion. She still hasn't won yet as a coach on The Voice and this is her fifth time being a coach on The Voice. I mean she has probably learned from her past as a coach and will really give it her all in picking the best contestants for her team and really giving her the best advice. I just feel in my opinion that Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton are much better and more experienced coaches on The Voice than Gwen Stefani is. But maybe Gwen Stefani will prove us wrong this season and she will be a really great coach and maybe this season will be the first season she wins with a contestant on her team. She is still an amazing and entertaining singer though with a great voice. I just don't think she's that great as a coach yet.
  6. I really liked Tamara Jade, Ian Flanigan, Jim Ranger, Eli Zamora, Payge Turner, Marisa Corvo, and John Holiday. I hope Eli Zamora does more than just Spanish songs though so I can like him more. I don't agree with Blake Shelton that Ian Flanigan sounds like Joe Cocker though. Lauren Frihauf's performance wasn't anything special to me in my opinion. I didn't really like Joseph Soul that much. He has a good voice. That performance of his just wasn't doing it for me in my opinion. So my ranking of last night's blind auditions would go like this (Best to least best) 1. Tamara Judge 2. Jim Ranger 3. John Holiday 4. Ian Flanigan 5. Marisa Corvo 6. Payge Turner 7. Lauren Frihauf 8. Joseph Soul
  7. Jeff Bridges has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma and Rush Limbaugh has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. I hope both of them are able to fight their diseases and recover.
  8. You know how the judges normally give out the golden tickets? Are they still going to be doing that with what is currently going on or no?
  9. So are the judges going to have separate desks for Hollywood Week, Hawaii or whatever location they do for Green Mile and basically the rest of the show? Also, how are they going to have mentors for some weeks? Would it be virtual? How are they going to guests perform their songs for results show? Is that going to be virtual too? Would Bobby Bones get tested before coming back as a mentor later on in the show? How often are the judges and contestants going to be tested?
  10. I heard that Shannen Doherty has Stage Four Breast Cancer. I hope she is able to fight this and get rid of the Cancer.
  11. So 2020 has been quite a year for a number of reasons, but this is the one year that a lot of famous people died. Some would say way more than any other year. This thread can be a way for people to share tributes, post things on their behalf, pictures, videos, quotes, etc. This post can also be a way for people to list names of celebrities who they feel don't have much time left since we still have three more months until 2020 is done. If there is a name of someone I didn't list and they were a famous person that died this year, then you are more than share tributes or anything about them. Famous People Who Died In 2020: 1. Nick Gordon 2. John Lewis 3. Ruth Bader Ginsburg 4. Tyler Gwozdz 5. Terry Jones 6. Kobe Bryant 7. Kirk Douglas 8. Orson Bean 9.Robert Conrad 10. Katherine Johnson 11. Max Von Sydow 12. Kenny Rogers 13. Johnny Nash 14. Eddie Van Halen 15. Bill Withers 16. Honor Blackman 17. Naya Rivera 18. Chadwick Boseman 19. John Prine 20. Roy Horn 21. Little Richard 22. Jerry Stiller 23. Fred Willard 24. Ken Osmond 25. Vera Lynn 26. Huey 27. Carl Reiner 28. Hugh Downs 29. Charlie Daniels 30. Nick Cordero 31. Kelly Preston 32. Regis Philbin 33. Olivia De Havilland 34. Wilford Brimley 35. Cliff Robinson 36. Sumner Redstone 37. DJ Erick Morillo 38. Bruce Williamson 39. Thomas Jefferson Byrd 40. Whitey Ford 41. Sean Connery 42. Nikki McKibbin 43. Alex Trebek 44. Ben Cross 45. Diana Rigg 46. Geoffrey Palmer 47. Ian Holm 48. John Sessions 49. Roberta McCain 50. Charley Pride 51. MF Doom 52. Jessica Campbell
  12. So out of the three well known contestants who might be auditioning again next season here’s how I would rank them. All three of them have something else in common other than being from last season. They all got eliminated during group round/Hollywood Week Round 2 last season. All three of them also got all three judges to say yes. I’m saying that because sometimes contestants who make it to Hollywood only get two judges Instead of three to say yes. 1. Hannah Prestridge 2. Ren Patrick 3. Courtney Timmons
  13. Can you list the ones who have auditioned before then if there are any? Those are the ones I would be interested in.
  14. I get what you mean, but everything happens for a reason.
  15. Has it been confirmed yet if the contestants are going to audition in front of the judges or if they are doing it from home? That would for sure be a first though if they are doing Hollywood Week and the contestants perform from their homes.
  16. Oh and Charlie Puth also has written songs for Thomas Rhett too.
  17. Yeah and plus Charlie Puth has written songs for Liam Payne, Jason Derulo, Pitbull, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Michael Buble, Little Mix, Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, Ava Max, Zara Larsson, G-Eazy, CeeLo Green and Marshmello. So yeah he has quite the impressive resume for music/song writings. I mean Charlie Puth lives and breathes music. I definitely think there is a possibility that he could write another song for Gabby Barrett again. He is a great songwriter indeed.
  18. Gabby Barrett's song I Hope featuring Charlie Puth has been played on Surius XM's hits 1 station multiple times. That is one of the most popular radio stations to have your songs played on. There haven't been any other contestants from the ABC reboot of American Idol that have had any of their songs played on the radio especially on Surius XM's hits 1
  19. I meant it's a good sign considering none of the contestants from the ABC American Idol Reboot (Season 16-18) have made progress like that recording with major artists and being played on big radio stations. But a lot of contestants from the FOX version of American Idol have made that kind of progress. Yes, I agree that the success with the one song I Hope doesn't mean she's all of a sudden famous. In my opinion, it just means she is getting recognized and if she keeps up the hard work, she will have more singles, more air time on the radio, and possibly the chance to record songs with other big time famous artists. She's definitely recognized by Charlie Puth now. Think how many people that had no idea who Gabby Barrett will know her now. He probably did a lot of promoting for their song too. Promotions are a good way for new artists to be recognized.
