Yeah if they are going to hype up people for American Idol. They are going to use people who have been the talk of the town. Carrie Underwood has been the talk of the town for years and Gabby Barrett has been the talk of the town since her new song I Hope featuring Charlie Puth. If Maddie Poppe starts having that kind of success, then maybe American Idol will take the time to fully recognize her and feature her in future American Idol promo videos.

Even the audition round too. They generally have people sitting in the waiting round. If they are going to continue that, then they would be need to be so much social distancing between the chairs.

Yeah and there's no way they would be able to have a group of people crowded in a room together for Hollywood Round 3. Also, you know how the judges sometimes hug the contestants? I'm pretty sure they won't be doing that this season either.

On The Voice, I see like with the battle rounds, they are having the contestants stand on separate stages. For Hollywood Week on American Idol, how would they do lines of 10? Would they just have one contestant come on stage at a time to perform and they are told at that moment if they move on to Group Round (If they are even still doing group round with the whole Coronavirus situation).

I don't remember, but did the show ever do a tribute for the other three finalists Michael Johns, Rickey Smith, and Leah LaBelle?

I hope this season they are going to tribute Nikki McKibbin somehow.

Also, Paula Goodspeed (American Idol Season 5), Alexis Cohen (American Idol Season 7 and American Idol Season 8), Danny Parker (American Idol Season 3), and Jessika Baier (American Idol Season 8). These four contestants didn't make it to Hollywood. Haley Smith from American Idol Season 11 as well. Haley Smith made it to Hollywood Week, but did not make it through Hollywood Round 2/Group Round.
