  1. Top 24 contestants have began to travel to LA for live shows and quarantining.
  2. This really is a season for the girls though, they all just keep on delivering each week.
  3. Definitely a little too jazzy and theatrical for Idol but a great voice.
  4. The second Girl Crush audition that got stopped this season.
  5. Not them playing Rivers Deep in the background
  6. Hollywood Format: Sunday 3/21 - Genre Challenge Monday 3/22 - Duets Sunday 3/28 - Showstoppers/Final Judgement Part 1 Monday 3/29 - Showstoppers/Final Judgement Part 2
  7. im sick of them saying every person with an above average audition is Top 10
  8. Acoording to FutonCritic the first episode of Hollywood Week will be the Genre Challenge again.
  9. The easiest way to get a platform in 2021 is TikTok. Idol needs to use their TikTok account more often and put ads on there as well, and they also need to encourage the contestants to post singing videos and performances on their TikToks. This could help them create bigger stars AND get ratings up.
  10. This is definitely a season for the girls. Hopefully its not like last season where the girls dominated pre-lives but most were eliminated at the Top 20 because of the horrible format.
  11. If I was an artist looking to improve myself as a singer and find my artist identity, I would go to The Voice because that's what the COACHES are for after all. If I was an artist looking for a more competitive, cutthroat, and realistic atmosphere that represents the music industry a bit more accurately to help me gain success, I would go to Idol. Both shows have their benefits for artists, just depends on where they are in their career or where they want to go with it. Another thing to take note of is that The Voice allows both younger and older contestants outside the age range of Idol allows. I think that kind of says that they aren't really looking for a modern day star and just want to help the artists develop, with the career as an after thought. If they were looking for a modern day pop star, they wouldn't be having anybody over the age of 30 on that show.
  12. Exactly. Morgan competed on The Voice 6 years ago and hes only having the mass success he has now which basically proves The Voice didnt impact his fame whatsoever. If The Voice did impact his fame, he wouldve been peaking 1-3 years after his stunt on the show.
  13. Is there a time where a The Voice contestant who has actually made the finals has had a Top 3 hit on the billboard hot 100? Just curious because someone on Idol who competed in 2018 and made the finals literally had that this year.
  14. If you are just going to continue to hate on Idol you should get off this forum then maybe? This is a place for Idol lovers, not haters. Also, "Gabby isnt beautiful or charismatic"???? If anything she has pretty privelege from being white and having blonde hair-
  15. Exactly. Sure, The Voice might have the better ratings, but I cant name an artist on that show who has has had one mainstream, high charting, radio hit.
  16. I feel like the females of the fake Top 24 will be similar to the actual Top 24, but the males will probably be different.
  17. 1. Casey Bishop 2. Cassandra Coleman 3. Willie Spence 4. Liahona Olayan 5. Amanda Mena 6. Chayce Beckham 7. Hannah Everheart 8. Anthony Guzman 9. Ammon Olayan 10. Calvin Upshaw 11. Yurisbel
