I think it's a hoax only for country audience that cast massive votes. For other non-country artists splitting votes is unfortunately a reality

I have to disagree. We have some AA women singing current songs like Christiana Danielle, Kennedy Holmes and We McDonald. Even so we hadn't them winning

Nick Jonas was a coach last season and he didn't manage to win with Thunderstorm who was an earlier favorite

Don't they have CMA? What's the difference other than having a show to discover new people singing country? Obviously I would reduce the number of the seasons per year, but keep regular TV and country TV for people to watch whatever they want whenever they can. I can only imagine...

Yes but they have a hard time during the show. Another example is indie artists that have difficult to reach lives and get votes. Basically in this show we only see R&b artists, some pop acts and country people, but the latter is the audience that IMO is big enough to support a show of their own

But they would have their own TV show, so why would they hate it? Also I see many people complaining here that Jake Worthington placed higher than Christina Grimmie for example or even recently that Tanner Gomes defeated Marisa Corvo... So all of them would have equal chances with that.

In theory yes, but let's be honest that we only learn about multiple gentes INSIDE country. For example I love rock and I see many rockers have a bad time on TV with only Chloe winning and even so she sang more 80's than actual rock. Maybe they would have better chances in this separated format
