Is Gabriel really gonna be in Agt?

He's got a crazy range, and has no problem hitting those whistle notes.

I just hope he don't sing way over the top there, bc from what I've seen, I think his performances can get really messy that way.

Now I’m reminded of when one of my favorite TVAU contestants, Johnny Manuel, was on AGT in 2017. I think the fact that I really liked him on AGT contributed to me rooting for him to succeed on The Voice Australia.

Ikr. After the letdown i.e last season, they could've given us T12/13 but refused to do so when I like most of the contestants and invested in some

Yeah, the cuts are too brutal. I’m not a fan of them eliminating more than half of the artists in a given round. Three per coach plus an extra Live Show would have been better, and they easily could have done it.

Regarding S14, I don't think I got much out of it. Loved Kyla, enjoyed Britton, and liked Pryor at the beginning when it seemed like he was going into the blues/rock direction, but he lost me when he went country later on. I don't think it was a good fit for him. Jackie F had both great and bad nights.

And Reid got cut off early.

Agree with most of this. I feel like the season didn’t have that many memorable performances compared to others (and I didn’t enjoy the live shows)

    Honestly, S16 >>>> S11 and S18

S16 had great blinds (IDF was uncharacteristically positive, boy did they knew the storm coming), and apart from that, gave us the golden era of meltdowns. It just kept getting worse when you thought it couldn´t: From the poorly executed Cross Battles, to the Blake dominance in that round, then in the Playoffs, then with 3 of them in the finale, it was chaos.

Blinds and Battles were really good in S16, but then the cross battles happened and the season declined. I blame the format for the problems with the season more than the cast

  5. 1. Season 5- Great format, great results, great song choices, great finalists, great winner

    2. Season 21- Great winner, great finalists, great live show episodes. The only thing I didn’t like was Team Ariana

    3. Season 13- Great cast, good T3, many talents in T12, great performances from variety of contestants. The only things holding is back were a certain playoff result and that I didn’t like one of the finalists.

    4. Season 10- Favorite winner, excellent T4 and great SF group. My only complaint is the comeback artists

    5. Season 9- Two of my all time favorite contestants were in the final 4, and all of the finalists had great performances at points. A few artists in lives weren’t that great though

    HMs

Season 4- One of the most talented seasons but results hold it back

Season 8- Good cast in lives, results again hold it back

Season 12- Love the winner. Many really good T12 contestants but finale could have improved

Season 17- Great T4. Lives cast didn’t have much depth though

Season 20- Great talent, excellent winner, the format was short

Parker McKay (S21) - The Cunningham Sisters were haunting, and they deserved the win, but again, it´s a shame that a steal was not available to reward Parker´s work. She held her own, contributed to the frighteningly good harmonies, and was on point.

I would have picked Parker to win the battle. The Cunningham Sisters weren’t bad, but I preferred Parker there

I know you like Omar. Just curious about who you think deserved to be the top 5.

I think Bryce deserved his place. :stealth:

My Top 5 of the Semifinalists (based on body of work) was bodie, Morgan, Omar, Justin and Kim

I wasn’t mad about Bryce getting through based on that week (especially since some of the people I mentioned had their weakest performance). But like I mentioned, one weak performance in an otherwise great run isn’t usually enough for me to want someone eliminated

If Kim had gotten than PV over Brayden (which I think she deserved, bc Summertime was one the best performances of the season), then what would've happened with Omar? Thoughts? I personally think he also deserved the PV.

I wanted Omar in the finale as well, but I think you knew that. Like I said, I was more angry about all of the minorities being in the bottom than anything

He would have had a good shot to make the finale, considering his finale placement and IS performance.

I think they'll go in order for the tapings. NOIVAS was from the  first taping and it's likely that Sorelle closed taping 2, so I'll go with Sorelle as the closer.

Just looked at S13 and they closed with Keisha, so it doesn’t matter as much for this round. I mean, they already know who is advancing

I was suspicious at the start, but his likes have increased very gradually, just like his views, on FB. I don't know if you can do anything on the video posted by another account that isn't in your control. His KO views/reacts on insta also seem normal to me. Steady growth.

But his numbers for his audition on insta bugs me a little bit. He had, like, 650k views after a month or two, then all of a sudden in a day, it went to 880k (Right now 908k). His likes also went from 45k to 75k (Right now 80k) in just a day, while it took him a month to reach to 45k.

Again, the account that actually posted his audition was The Voice's official account. Like I said before, I'm not sure if you can do anything to a video that was posted by another account.

Maybe he pulled a Makenzie Thomas here. :haha:

    What did MaKenzie do

My signature in a nutshell :dead:

But yeah, Myracle is the epitome of this thread.

Yeah. Everybody Hurts was one of the better performances of the week, and she shouldn’t have been in the bottom after that (and it hurts that she lost to Shane Q). I felt that the majority of contestants eliminated during the T11 week were people I enjoyed more than their IS opponent. Even if they gave one of their weakest performances that week, their bodies of work warranted them another week in the competition. One misstep isn’t enough to warrant elimination for me, especially in early Lives. Myracle’s performance wasn’t a misstep by the way, in fact it was much better than her previous week.

Emily Keener is another great example. She was under the radar for me a lot, but that performance didn’t deserve a bottom placement, especially with Paxton, Nick and Daniel there. It was even more of a shock since she was 3rd in terms of iTunes charting that week. I’m just glad that no more eliminations that season bothered me after that.
