Basil of Baker Street (The Great Mouse Detective) I decided to do these 2 together bc I figured it would be quicker, since anything I have to check up for one will help me with the other most likely. Basil is basically knock-off Sherlock Holmes. He's a brilliant detective with a lot of skills and knowledge, which he puts to use to try to stop Prof. Ratigan. I'm literally trying to find anything that isnt a carbon copy of Sherlock lol. Super smart? Check. Jack of all trades? check. self-centered at times? Check. Random-ish bouts of anger when things dont pan out? Check. A way nicer sidekick that doesn't deserve the treatment? Check. But S2 of Sherlock this is not. It's just The Great Mouse Detective. So it can leave imo. Proffesor Ratigan The counterpart to Basil, a solid foil to him and a pretty good design (esp. with how menacing he looks during the Big Ben fight), but that's what gets him above Basil for me, but it's still a movie I don't really care that much for, so I'm okay with making this cut. Onto the details. The main antagonist and crime lord of the movie, he's also based around a Sherlock Holmes character: James Moriarty. He has a reputation as the greatest criminal mind, which makes him a great nemesis for Basil. He also has a very dual personality, calm and calculated at times, and savage and destructive at others. Anyway, idk if I just took down the movie (I think the kid was still around) but out these 2 go.

This movie is a dark comedy released on 2016, and the are some biographical elements to it (apparently blown up to the nth degree bc why not). The film follows two arms dealerswho get a U.S. Army contract to supply ammunitions for the Afghan National Army worth approximately $300 million. Lit. The movie stars Jonah Hill, Miles Teller, Ana de Armas, and Bradley Cooper. Now I have to feel bad I cut a Ana de Armas film. Again, that will happen in the morning. Jiordan Tolli I was gonna swipe Tom's write up since he pretty much nailed what worked (and what destroyed) Jiordan. She was a nice addition to her season, but holy sh!t poor girl getting Redfoo as her mentor (tbh why was Redfoo of all people allowed to be there...... wait Iggy was also on this show nevermind it was hopeless). She had some great performances through her run (her audition remains my fave even if Birdy covers were kinda used and abused by XFAUS by the time it got cancelled). Sadly she went out in 5th place, but at least she delivered more than she flopped. I still remember parts of her run fondly. Also I'm pretty sure Louise is f*cked if I dont save her so goodbye to her as well lol Save: Shan Ako, who's exit from the show still baffles me

Vlado Finally. How did he make it this far. XFAUS was a mess that season but he should have been among the first eliminated imo. But no, we needed his terrible singing to stick around till the finale. As far as his run on the show goes, he was mediocre to abysmal every time he opened his mouth to sing, and I was so thankful for Adam sending him out the door during the 3 chair challenge. Of course Mel B had to ruin everything by bringing him back instead of a better one - Ivy Adara was right there. He stuck around by a combination of some acts bombing and the public being deaf ig, and got third over Amalia which is WTF in my book. So yeah, bye! Save. The other one

The Sultan He's lolzy at times, but like most parents in Disney movies, the word that better describes them is meh. Well I don't have anything else to add as far as opinion on him goes, so the basic: he was the ruler of Agrabah, the father of Princess Jasmine, am I missing anything? I think not, which is sad. He's also pretty cookie-cutter in his relationship with Jasmine, he pretty much wants to see her marry someone (we love the 90s bringing back the terrible parts of princesses stories lol). He also spends ~3/4 of the movie being hipnotized by Jafar's staff. Anyway, good job getting him here, but don't care about him that much. Chicken Little Well, I don't care about this movie at all, so eliminating the main character doesn't really matter to me, soooooo this cut works pretty well. Things I didn't know that I found thanks to google: he was supposed to be female, but they changed it because of the notion that short boys are more likely to be bullied than short girls, so let's lean into stereotypes made its appearance during development. Anyway the basics: he's pretty smart, but no one really pays attention to him (plus him pointing out the sky was falling kinda made him look insane since he had no way to prove it). In the end, he was right (sorta), but do I care? No. Bye! Save: Jacques

Bella Penfold TBH I confused her for a second with Molly (they are nothing alike, they are just equally forgettable), but now I sorta remember her, even tho the only contestants I remember from that season are Shan, Dalton, Scarlett (sorta) and Anthony (unfortunately). If it isn't obvious, she's from season 15, and finished in 8th place. She has an interesting tone, and that's about the positives she had going for her. She had close to no range, and most of her performances were messy, and in the best case they barely were ok. She was casted as filler tbh, and she did that role well lol. The Purge: Election Year Since I nominated this on my only-Horror round (after people that like horror movies way more than I do and are participating in a rankdown dedicated to only horror films), it feels like a solid cut. I haven't seen it, but just from reading the premise, I would give it a pass most likely. It's a dystopian horror film released in 2016, and is the third installment in the franchise (currently at 4 movies and a 2-season tv show). The basic idea is that you have an annual national holiday (the Purge), that's pretty much a free-for-all, anything-goes kinda deal for crime. So of course people just go off killing each other. This sounds like 4chan's wet dream, and that's all you need to know. Save: mother!
