I’d enjoy a hoot win if he keeps doing well but honestly people always say this about every country guy every season and it’s rarely true. Also being on Kelly’s team as opposed to Blake’s put him at a disadvantage too. I think he’d have the same fate as Kaleb Lee.

It could be just based off her track record on previous seasons. This season her team is pretty good so maybe her luck will turn?

I don’t think it is easy covering Demi. Also yeah Damali is technically skilled but she’s essentially the female version of Boyle

I think Kat is his main girl...he doesn’t seem too attached to the other 4...maybe gracee cause she’s the only other country artist left. Anyways Blake is unpredictable so even if his main guy is Ricky it’s not guarantee he’ll save him if needed. Even gracee isn’t guaranteed to be saved if needed (ex. when he saved Tsoul)

I think John has a solid following and due to that, while he may not be the favorite coach, most of his team could get voted through the first few weeks relatively easily, with maybe the weakest of his top three leaving the first two weeks. It seems most of John’s fan base votes based on quality rather than hype of contestants. That explains how Shawn sounds got through last season despite relatively little hype.

I see but I was just emphasize even in the general audience Jake hoot could have young adult (or even teen) fans too.

I’m 24 and I don’t think that’s old...not to mention I enjoy both Jakes. I’d vote for one or both of them If they made top 12 if I werenT concerned of Will or Kat’s safety. However I’ll likely vote for both jakes (unless one member of the other teams nails it to make up for past underwhelming performances or the Jakes bomb beyond redemption)
