Ooh how fun! I’ll definitely jump in for some rounds

This was such a fun rankdown, and I loved all of the surprises in the end game. I would have been thrilled with any of my Top 5 winning as they were all favorites of mine for various reasons. It was awesome to have a reason to watch/rewatch so many of these amazing movies (and get the most out of my Disney+ subscription ). This whole thing really showed me how much Disney has been such a huge part of my life, and so many of my rankings wound up having so much more of a sentimental meaning to me and were less about the movies themselves.

Genie I’ve been surprised by these final rankings the whole way through, and Genie taking the #2 spot is yet another pleasant surprise. I love how so many of our write ups say such similar things about Robin Williams stellar voice performance and Genie being arguably one of the best side kicks in all of Disney!

Aw, I’m sorry to hear that, Victoria! Sending big hugs and good vibes your way Now for a story and some advice you certainly didn’t ask me for... About a year ago my husband suddenly lost his job. With me being a few months pregnant and all of the other uncertainties it was a really scary time. It was a rough few weeks, but ultimately he wound up stumbling ass-backwards into a part time bartending job at a place we used to drink at regularly. He completely fell in love with the work and is currently working for a different place as a bar manager. Honestly, I’ve never seen him happier even though the job has absolutely nothing to do with his bio/chem degree and background. So my unsolicited advice: take a little time and process/grieve the loss of a huge part of your life. But when you do go back to the job hunt, keep an open mind to any opportunities that present themselves. There’s no telling what’s out there that will connect with you.

Agreed! For me, pretty much all things Disney are pretty low stress because I genuinely like just about everything Just some a lot more than others!

I’ll sign up for The Chicks, too! Spent today listening to “Gaslighter” while doing my laundry so now I feel caught up enough to participate

Also, all this talk about the Disney music makes me think that the next Disney themed rankdown should be for Disney songs???

Ursula She did much better than I imagined she’d do, but getting so close to the end I had a little hope she’d take the whole thing! My favorite villain, one of my all-time favorite songs, and just an all around awesome character! I love my 1/2/3/4 characters all pretty equally, but gave the boost to Mary because I thought she had the best shot of winning, 2 to Alice for sentimental reasons and so she wasn’t last, and 3 to Ursula because I thought she’d wind up middling in a lot of rankings so I didn’t think she’d be a contender. I also thought #4 wouldn’t need as much help from me, but well see how that plays out for the last placements!

This top 4 is so good I wouldn’t be upset with any of them winning!

Mine got delayed. Impromptu zoo trip with the baby! They will be in tonight for sure! I have them about half done (I’m struggling more with the middle songs than I thought).
