I have been BEGGING this show and SYTYCD for years to just shake things up and let same-sex pairings happen.
@totes4totes trying real hard to forget about SYTYCD Season 7.

3 girls and 1 guy going. Seems about right on par for Idol.

Unless Indiana has unique laws I don't think you could get arrested for this. Plus it would just be a he said / she said type deal which is basically impossible to prove without a mountain of evidence to back up your side. But either way I do enjoy a good messy situation regardless.
I don't think it would lead to an arrest or anything, but Kennedy could definitely file a suit against the woman for slander/libel/ (I'm not sure exactly what it would be referred to in this case) since she posted it on Facebook and all that.

K-Blocks were eliminated.
this is almost as homophobic as Parker Posey being murdered in Scream 3.

Isnt there not a wildcard where the 4 who are eliminated sing again and the judges choose the wildcard
That happens after the Top 20.

Ooh and Tevin actually voted out Soda? Even though he (supposedly, due to editing) was the first person to put out there about the Soda blindside? And then he backs out of it? What gives?
I assumed it was either a safety vote in case Soda played a SITD or to make it seem like he was on Soda’s side since she’s on the jury.

Well I was torn between several movies but it seems nobody is picking this iconic moment of gay cinema so my pick is
Fun fact (that I hope is true): I learned Tom Brady cheated on Bridget Moynahan with Gisele Bunchen, so every Super Bowl that he was a part of, she’d go out and buy the jersey for the opposing team and post about rooting for them.

In Julianne’s defense (something I never expected to say), she identified as straight on her first season and does not nowadays.

someone pick Coyote Ugly and Jawbreaker already so I don’t have to
-
My guess is that they’ll post them after the… reunion?… next week.

Honestly the Will/Triston dynamic might end up giving a repeat of Chayce/Caleb in S19. The annoying thing is that we don't know *how* that would've fully turned out since Caleb was obviously disqualified. But it was clear regardless that Chayce was winning.
Seeing as how much the rest of that season mirrored S11, I assume Caleb would've just gone out at the next round of eliminations anyway, and the final three would play out the same.

Triston not having any lead despite being a heavily pimped country artist is VERY interesting.
10 hours ago, QueenKalie said:Honestly with that song and that level of pimping he really should have have been head and shoulders over the rest of the people but he's not.
10 hours ago, m1key said:I wonder why Triston doesn't seem to be connecting as well as expected?
If you look at how this show has gone since it moved to ABC, Tristan underperforming despite being country is not a shock at all.
9 hours ago, QueenKalie said:He was a lot higher on Quintavious then I was. I don't see what he sees in him but it's whatever.
Clark's background is in churches, so he tends to appreciate the 'Church'-type belting more than most.

One possible way to have a female winner is to split the country vote in the finale.
Split voting isn't really an issue when there's a cap on votes and you can vote for multiple contestants at once, though.
Split voting was a bigger ordeal in the past when voting for a second contestant essentially meant you were taking time away from voting for the first contestant.

Jack Blocker - "Rainbow" (Kacey Musgraves)
Kennedy Reid - "Fancy" (Reba McEntire)
Jennifer Jeffries - "Bruises" (Lewis Capaldi)
Ajii - "Higher" (Tems)
Emmy Russell - "Beautiful Things" (Benson Boone)
Mackenzie Sol - "Jealous" (Nick Jonas)
Mia Matthews - "Daddy's Hands" (Holly Dunn)
Triston Harper - "God's Country" (Black Shelton)
Roman Collins - "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)" (Marvin Gaye)
Odell Bunton, Jr. - "Uptown Funk" (Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars)
Elleigh Marie - "Forget You!" (Cee-Lo Green)
K-Blocks - "Harleys in Hawaii" (Katy Perry) -
KBlocks was terrible but I absolutely want her to make it far this season if she keeps delivering that level of camp

lolol, I actually was digging through the 2019/2020 game for it thinking that's when that post happened, and I couldn't find it. So I had to find one of the other posts where I've quoted it, and that's when I realized it was a year later than I thought it was.

Yeah. Sunday night, they reveal the Top 20 and they perform again. On Monday, they do the Victory Songs/Second Chance songs and the Top 14 is revealed at the end of it.
Next week, I believe they go back to just doing Sundays with the Live Voting until the finale. Assuming it's the same style as previous seasons, we're probably looking at 14 > 10 > 7 > 5 > 3 (one of those numbers could change if they do the Judges Contest theme again).
