  2. YASSSS NOVA!!!! People rooting for Houston, let's hear you complain about the rEfS now!
  3. LOL The racket abuse has gotten so out of control that Andy Roddick had to give some pointers as to how to slam your racket/hit a ball in frustration
  4. Welp... The Maryland women have their season prematurely ended again... It's a shame that this team didn't even reach a Final Four with Chloe Bibby or Katie Benzan... This team was fun to watch the past two season with both of them on it... At least we would have Ashley Owusu, Mimi Collins, and Diamond Miller coming back next season (and possibly another one)
  5. In before the Men's Tourney begins: My First Four Predictions: Texas Southern over Corpus Christi Indiana over Wyoming Wright State over Bryant Rutgers over Notre Dame
  6. LMFAO. This is one of the stupidest tweets I saw. The Universal DH is a thing now. And don't forget the nonsense coming in 2023: banning of shifts, pitch clock, larger bases (making the distance in between less than 90'). And don't get me started on the Apple TV+ deal, which eliminates local TV broadcasts should their respective team get selected that week. Is Baseball really back?
  7. Our reign as Olympic Champions in Men's Curling was nice while it lasted... Because Team Shuster will not get the chance to repeat after they just lost to GB in the Semis, 8-4...
  8. Welp... At least the USA Women represented well in hockey... Unlike the Men's team...
  9. Not Team USA losing to SLOVAKIA in Men's Hockey... #embarrassing
  10. Also, I am rooting for the Rams in the Super Bowl #NFC
  11. Rams 45 Bengals 24 Super Bowl MVP: Greg Gaines
  12. "You surround yourself with good people and work hard and be unselfish and care and don't be embarrassed to say, 'I love you,' and 'I appreciate it' because if you say it, someone else will say it back to you."
  13. LINDSEY JACOBELLIS JUST WON A GOLD MEDAL IN SNOWBOARD CROSS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. But seriously, I did NOT fancy her to win the Gold today. We all clowned her for that fall in Torino in 2006; now that is really in the past now. Congratulations to her.
  14. You know the drill... The Opening Ceremony isn't until Friday morning, but the action has already started. USA already have played two matches in the Mixed Doubles Curling and are 1-1; Canada just began their game in Women's Hockey
  15. YES! MEDVEDEV LOST! VAMOS RAFA! And he blew a two sets to none lead LMAOOOOOOOOO! #choked Sorry Daniil, but your trashy antics didn't win you the AusOpen. Hopefully his US Open title last year was his only Slam of his career.
  16. So, I was at the Rangers game last night... The game itself was an embarrassment all around: The Rangers players lacked physicality and puck-handling skills in the second and third periods as they blew a two-goal lead. (FFS, when the Wild had the puck, I was begging the Rangers players to hit somebody) They let the game come down to that goaltender interference call at the very end. Which brings me to the next thing: Our fans acted like pieces of , as people in the lower bowl threw things onto the ice in reaction to that call. There was no excuse for that. And that is a damn shame, because the ceremony for Henrik Lundqvist was well-done (and was the highlight of the night). It was only now that we got a chance to give him a proper farewell (his last season ended in The Bubble). "Lifers" like him who play over a decade with a club and make themselves the face of not only their franchise but also the face of the city they play in, are few and far between. We should never take those kinds of players for granted. I guess we know what that day was... Last night, January 28, 2022. Thank you Henrik, for everything you did for the Rangers.
  17. Nick Kyrgios just won a Grand Slam Tournament... With his boy, Thanasi Kokkinakis! (I know it's only Doubles, but still ) AHHHHHHH, SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! Congratulations to them both!
  18. Laver still filled for Men's Doubles - which feature the team of Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis No way would Ashe would be packed for any kind of doubles
  19. That Boys' Singles Championship just now, was probably the best Juniors match that I've ever watched. Bruno Kuzuhara may have won the Title (and I'm glad he did), but Jakub Mensik played with the heart of a Champion, playing until his body literally gave out. I feared that Mensik would've beaten Kuzuhara if the third set had gone to a breaker (Mensik had rallied to take the second set tiebreak); he was building momentum after earning a point on a thirty-three shot rally down 5-6 in the third. Congratulations to both Bruno AND Jakub; they will end up being future stars and fixtures on the senior-level circuit in the distant future.
  20. In between Medvedev, Shapovalov, and some of the bogans in the stands, I've seen/heard SO much BS at the AusOpen that it's make ME lose my OWN temper
  21. Yes! Seriously, Shapovalov and his "you guys are all corrupt" remark, and his pathetic attempt to walk that statement back (like, no one asked/gave him permission). His crying was music to my ears, and his tears were delicious when he lost. mIsSpOkE. #FOH And go FAA - not just because he's facing the evil Medvedev, but because I'm a fan of Auger-Aliassime - I've been fascinated with him ever since I walked past a PACKED Court 11 at US Open Qualies a few years back and wondered, "WTF does this crowd know about him [and his opponent Chris Eubanks] that I don't?"
  22. Ashleigh Barty Kansas City Chiefs Handing the Pegula Family some L's
  23. Watching Daniil Medvedev succeed makes my blood boil. He pulls like what he did in the Cressy match, yet he wonders why the crowd won't respect him. Maybe Medvedev is the one with the "low IQ"... And BTW, if Medvedev thinks that Cressy's game is so "boring"... He would've had a fun time playing Pete Sampras...
  24. WOW. WHAT. A. GAME. Probably the best Playoff game I've seen in a long time... #BILLTKC
  25. Madison Brengle's gonna have her hands full against Naomi Osaka later tonight/early tomorrow morning I'm a little bit worried about Brengle after she got dominated by Dayana Yastremska in the second set of their first-round match; there's plenty of questions left to be answered...
