  1. The judges scored Jericho Sims' dunks WAY too high. Vince Carter already "stuck his arm in the rim", and his dunk in Oakland was much cleaner than Sims'. Mac McClung is stealing the show right now.
  2. I personally loved Rihanna's halftime show... However, remembering that many of her songs [from tonight's setlist] came out over ten years ago makes me feel old lol...
  3. Hey, I was right about the Chiefs winning with a score of 38 points AND Mahomes winning MVP. That fumble return for TD really changed the complexion of the game. But at the Eagles even daring to find the end zone tonight... #ugh
  4. My prediction: Chiefs 38 Eagles 12 Super Bowl MVP: Patrick Mahomes
  5. "nObOdY lIkEs Us, AnD wE dOn'T cArE" Weird flex, but okay...
  6. I guess I'm rooting for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl
  7. Khachanov won again; ew.
  8. So, I just got home to find out that Rybakina eliminated Swiatek. Excuse me while I go punch the air right now...
  9. Big ups to Ben Shelton, who just scored a big "W" over Alexei Popyrin. A win in a hostile environment like that was going to be hard to come by, especially since Popyrin had become the Reznor of the fortress known as John Cain Arena.
  10. So, this Australian Open has been upsetting for me (puns intended?): - Nick Kyrgios pulled out of this tournament with an injuty - Madison Brengle had to wait almost twenty-four hours to get eliminated by Claire Liu - Ons Jabeur had an abysmal night, as she got eliminated by Marketa Vondrousova. I get it, Vondrousova is no pushover, but Jabeur was asleep at the wheel for most of the match - Needing a set point to force a fifth set, Frances Tiafoe blew SIX set points and lost the fourth set and the match to Karen Khachanov. Premature elimination. At least the following things are giving me life: - The epic match between Alexei Popyrin and Jason Tseng on John Cain Arena; good luck trying to beat Popyrin on that court - The epic match between Andy Murray and Thanasi Chokekinais Kokkinakis - Daniil Medvedev getting eliminated EARLY, losing to Sebastian Korda this morning - Other USA men scoring some BIG upsets: Jenson Brooksby, Mackenzie McDonald, JJ Wolf over Schwartzmann, Michael Mmoh
  11. Good luck trying to beat Alexei Popyrin, Alex de Minaur, or any other Australian in John Cain Arena lol - even without Nick Kyrgios in this year's AusOpen, that show court has not lost its rowdiness
  12. ^ I'd like my crow medium-rare lol
  13. Somehow, I'm 2-for-2 today lol
  14. 15. The SNF game is still a win-and-in: It'll just be between the Packers (win-and-in) and Seahawks (Lions win, SEA are in)
  16. Also, a few hot takes: - The NFL scheduling Lions/Packers for SNF was absolutely the right call - even if the Seahawks win their game and eliminate the Lions, it would still be a win-and-in; just between the Packers and Lions Seahawks (if SEA win, they need GB to lose to clinch a Playoff berth). You know that if Seattle win, their fans will be watching the SNF game. This is like the Eagles/WFT game in this same spot two seasons ago, where we needed Philly to beat Washington in order to clinch a Playoff berth - I don't understand the Bengals fans' complaints about the contingency plans - if the Ravens beat the Bengals, they would own the head-to-head tiebreaker. Of course, due to the abandoned MNF game, Baltimore would still finish a half-game behind Cincy - what if the Bengals had lost to the Bills? We'll never know; that's why the coin-flip to determine home-field in a potential Wild Card matchup was the fairest way to go, under these circumstances - I understand why Coach Daboll is resting our starters today, but there is something worthwhile about just playing the last game of the season as usual and competing for the win - just ask Coach Coughlin and the 2007 team.
