Nice auditions from the contestants so far, including Owen Eckhardt. By the way, I just wanted to say that the guitar and harmonica set that Owen brought for his audition really reminded me of Tristen from last season. Tristen was a contestant my friend Nick and I both liked in Idol S20.

Or maybe it’s like the Sam Moss kinda thing from last season. She auditions in one city, but she gets rejected at first. Then she auditions for the same season again in another city, and then she is finally Hollywood bound.

The bad news, on the other hand… they might not be airing the auditions of two contestants in the Top 26. This photo best describes me when I realized the auditions of the two contestants in this season’s Top 26 might not be airing this season.

(btw, Tristen was a contestant my friend Nick and I both liked last season’s Idol) Second, we thought at first the blonde girl in the pink was The Voice S16’s Presley Tennant, but now I come to realize she’s actually Kayleigh Clark after I looked at the photos for Sunday’s episode. If Presley auditioned this season, I hope to watch for her too!!

NOIVAS (as Savion Wright) was a contestant on American Idol Seasons 13 AND 14. He finished in the Hollywood Rounds in Season 13, but made it to the Top 24 in Season 14. Kason Lester was on American Idol Season 17 but finished in the Showcase Round. Sorelle went on Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family as Heichel Sisters and finished in the semi-finals.

Chose Mark Hood, but out of all the TV competition covers of the song I have heard, I loved American Idol S20 winner Noah Thompson’s take on this song.
