i feel like they sabotaged Mariah by telling her she's country (although idk maybe she was country before then). they did that to that one dude who was on the voice before as well last season so unsurprising

i thought that "don't let go (love)" was underwhelming especially since i had desz's cover in mind so far this is extremely good though

a shame because Nailyah performed at the very least at the same standard but most here are still convinced she's gone

when they announced Warren's name i was disappointed not bc i remembered him but because i just assumed he was mediocre but this sounds good so far !! edit: but also the women are all still better, except for maybe Marybeth and one or two others..

why did i unpause the show to Ryan Seacrest going ??? HELLO??

that opening was weird ?? but it got a bit better after the first 10 seconds. but then it got worse again. chorus was mediocre (or i suppose below average for a singing competition). the run on old was really nice but then he was pitchy right after that. overall, a rollercoaster. not bad i think but not a home run. i think he's going home tmrw.
