Prefer her tone over Nathan’s & think Val had way more exciting moments than Nathan did (especially towards the end of her performance) Neither of their performances were flawless and both had some sloppy runs (Val more in the first half of hers while Nathan had some near the end) but I think the highs of Val’s performance did were more impressive than Nathan’s.

I really can’t think of any bad decisions he’s made besides that I literally just think it’s because he’s boring

I wouldn’t have stolen Kyle he wasn’t bad but Say You Won’t Let Go is such a boring song choice & the performance didn’t really go anywhere. Kyle getting a steal & not Frank is a little absurd

I will always defend Ariana on here & always want her back on the show

I would mind having to hear that song on this show again

Haven’t seen Charlie this upset about someone getting eliminated since the Alexa meltdown

I still am crossing my fingers that Bryan is in his top 3 Bryan/Gene/Zoe is a pretty strong top 3 (not super strong in terms of garnering public votes but you have to come to expect that with John’s team)

I feel I agreed with almost all of Ari’s decisions personally

? Ariana was one of the show’s best coaches

I think Bryce winning has completely broke us all

As much as I’m upset Frank left at least he left on a high note, the only thing worse than an artist you like leaving after a good performance is them leaving after a trainwreck (thinking about BrittanyBree & Kelsie Watts)

As much as I adore Olivia there’s no way they pick her over Anya I’m a little concerned because this is the first round where I’ve felt confident that Anya is going to make it through so I have a feeling I’m going to get blindsided and Anya gets cut

What do we think Anya’s chance of making it through the playoffs? Between Anya/Karen/Tae/Olivia/Madison I feel like realistically the Top 3’s gonna be Karen, Anya, and one of Tae/Madison

The one thing I will say about this episide is I don’t think I can think of another episode I’ve watched before where every single decision seemed up in the air. Usually there’s one or two pairings where the choice is very in your face obvious but this episode you could tell me you preferred every artist that lost their KO to the winner and I’d understand (unless you try to say you prefer Kyle to Anya, those are fighting words)

I’m really expecting a huge step up from Zoe, I’m super excited

John letting Val go over Nathan is much different than Chance letting Val go over RLETTO

1. Val by a decent amount 2. Olivia by a little 3. Anya by a LOT

The thing is Nathan showed since his audition that he is a strong vocalist. His audition had no real pitch issues & he pretty clearly had a lot of range and power. Ray showed absolutely nothing in his audition that would give you optimism that he had potential
