Have anyone ever covered something by Scorpions?
Nobody. Still Lovin You seems to be done a lot in foreign versions, but it’s never been sung in the USA. I have a feeling that the Scorpions are more popular in other countries than the USA, since they are originally from Germany- 1

Gihanna wasn’t polarizing last season, and Desz and Cami were probably the least polarizing in Season 19, at least for IDF.

Addison was very polarizing here, specially in the taped rounds.
Weren’t there also Addison and Chloe fan wars during Lives? -

I think Kyla Jade is another great example. She had very few haters on here and competed in a season that wasn’t well received

Yeah, there has been stuff in the past that makes me think Jeremy does read IDF.
It appears Holly reads it too, enhanced by the recent delete of the disco ball story, suspiciously after we started commenting on it.
The others have given no signs. For one, I think Wendy and Paris are unaware of it, and if they know, they wouldn´t bother reading it.
Don´t know if MJ has told Joshua about it, though.
I think Paris said in one of his recent lives that he doesn’t want to read any negative comments about other contestants, so I don’t think he would like reading IDF anyway. -

Pretty much.
Either way, the three contestants that come to mind when I see the title of this thread are Maelyn, Rose Short, and Cam Anthony. Near universally loved here, respected by the ones that maybe weren´t as big fans, and having maybe one or two detractors as a whole from what I remember.
I thought Wendy would join the list, but it´s clear a part of IDF doesn´t like her, and I´ve seen a couple of comments here from fans expressing a bit of dissappointment on her live performances.
Yeah, I’m not sure who would join the list from this season. Jershika’s probably the only contestant that doesn’t seem to have notable detractors here. -

Domenic Haynes probably. He was overshadowed by Maelyn on IDF (as was everybody else that season), but he was quite liked here as a whole, and I don´t remember him having any haters. In fact some people (including myself) have put a perfomance or two of his above Maelyn´s.
With Minivan though, yes, he sadly was polarizing.
Presley was in a similar boat to Domenic on this forum. Both were well received here compared to the other contestants, and IDF was not happy when they got eliminated (I’m convinced they would have both made T13 in a normal season). Presley was maybe a bit polarizing early on, but her last two performances were very well received here.
Yeah, the contestants that get eliminated in playoffs often don’t last long enough to become more polarizing.

Hannah Huston probably. I think she was well received even if Alisan was more popular, but she didn’t really have any haters from what I can tell. Definitely the least polarizing finalist from that season

Publicly? No, I don’t think so.
Nobody did what Jamella, Deion or Will did, and nobody created an account yet like Taryn, Sid, Carolina, Gihanna and Rachel. Not to mention Anna Grace having a tab of IDF on her computer. It really seems like the contestants have been quieter about mentioning IDF this season -
Have any contestants mentioned IDF yet this season? I haven’t seen any yet

Assuming they DON´T bring the Twitter back, and Holly finds herself in the IS with either Joshua, Jershika, or both, what do y"all think would be the outcome? No Twitter.
Holly will probably win. Joshua and Jershika aren’t popular enough with the audience -
Holly singing disco… interesting
-
It definitely makes sense why her performance is in the Best of Compilation. I thought it was her best on the show, even better than her playoff performance. I think she secured herself a finale PV with that

A sibling trio from a small, rural town in Ohio singing NYSOM would certainly be interesting, but I’ll add it anyway. It’s a good fit for their voices.
Now that I think about it, there are plenty of Billy Joel songs that fit their voices (a lot of his older ones would be good for them)- 2

This may sound harsh, but if "The Bundys" and "Worth the Wait" can appear in two global Voice videos, GNT should appear in at least ten to twelve videos (they will definitely get 1 or 2 global video after their The Voice Journey irrespectiveof the results)
If they win, I think they get an extra Voice Global video just for that. Best auditions of the year is also a possibility for them. Of course, many of the really popular auditions in the franchise keep showing up years after their auditions air.- 2

Last week, GNT was also featured, although I don't think we noticed.
All of the discussion about it happened in their fan thread last week- 1

Didn’t even realize we had this thread or I wouldn’t have made an entire post … but what if Season 6 had today’s format? I feel like Christina would have won fs and Tess & Bria could have gotten through their 1-2 flop performances and made semis at least
Considering the massacre that occurred in the T8 that season, I don’t think anything would have changed regarding that. They would have probably made it into Top 10, which is still an extra week in the competition. All I know is that Christina probably wouldn’t need the save to make finale- 1

Is anyone else aware of this?
Last week, they were featured on The Best of the Week. They've now appeared in at least six global publications.
Yes. We’ve been posting those videos in here each week they appeared (they’re not in this weeks edition though)- 1

Hailey Mia is featured in this week's best The Voice video from all over the world.
Wow, I haven’t thought about those videos today. Makes a lot of sense, considering she had a great week- 1

My Top 5:
GNT
Hailey
Wendy
Holly
Joshua
Pre-season, i was convinced that Jeremy would be my "male snowflake" of the season and i was not interested on Joshua. Man, how the tables have turned. Jeremy is getting more and more boring while Joshua keeps impressing me more and more.
I agree on the last paragraph, both preseason and in the Blinds I was expecting to like Jeremy a lot more than what ended up happening. I find the other powerhouses this season to be more interesting, at least in the Lives. He really hasn’t had the best song choices for his voice. Joshua has definitely improved a lot this season, and I never expected him to end up this high in my rankings, considering how low I had him after his battle. I’m glad to see a musical theater singer make it this far in the competition.- 1

This season is like S8 and S13 in that regard (I’m sure that the runner up this season will be a steal, and possibly 3 of the finalists)- 1

I’m going with Toneisha on this one.
Most of these performances didn’t really stand out

What if Ryan Gallagher didn't get disqualified?
I truly believed he would have won that year. I've never seen minivan moms that thirsty before
IDF would probably really hate the season because Desz and Cami would possibility both get eliminated a round earlier, as well as the all male finale. It would not be fun to think of a possibility of both Sid and Cami getting Instantly Eliminated during Playoffs.

My take on these
I definitely expected Wendy to be a bigger snowflake during the season. I was shocked that she eventually missed my T3 in rankings, and got beaten by Jershika
I wanted to see GNT make it far on the show, but I didn’t think I would want them to win
I remember it took until the last confirmed chair turner for MJ to find a snowflake
I was definitely expecting Ryleigh to be better received than she was
John had 4 team members listed under spoilers, and none of them made the Lives
People always get scared of the country males preseason, and a lot of them don’t even go very far (Cam Spinks, Ethan Lively post-battles, Carson Peters). Even Tanner, Pete and Peedy were expected to be snowflake killers and couldn’t even survive playoffs
Some of these singers definitely did not live up to expectations, and others definitely exceeded them (It was mainly the ringers/previous talent show contestants, at least for me, considering I watched them more preseason).
