Is there has another theme for semi, bc now I’m afraid for another trick.
No theme for SemisSemis are critical because a lot of winners in the past have had big moments in the Semis. If they really deliver in the Semis, I will feel more confident about them winning

The Semis is a very important round so if they have an excellent performance it could really help them win

We can't even make assumptions based on FB comments, since Paris and Hailey were the only ones with full on positivity. The rest vary from mixed to negative.
Considering this was challenge week, not a surprise that most of the performances got that type of reception. A lot of contestants weren’t as good as usual this week, since they probably weren’t as comfortable with the songs.- 1

Viva la Vida ended up being my 2nd favorite GNT performance after Wichita Lineman.
Was it pitch perfect? No, they did go off rails sometimes.
Was it effective? Hell yeah, it was. That was damn concert. The layering of harmonies, Bekah killing the vocals, the boys on the drums and doing their part as well. The whole atmosphere, I love it. When you create a moment like that, I can forgive some pitch issues.
I dont know how they couldnt have closed the show after that.
I feel like those types of theatrics curve my enjoyment of a performance, allowing slight pitch issues to be forgiven. This performance reminded me of Noah Mac’s River, one of my favorite performances in Season 13. It wasn’t perfect vocally, but it was one of the most entertaining performances I’ve seen.- 1

Jim and Sasha had decent stats last week with a bottom placement so I’m not sure about them escaping B3 yet. Also, their performance said Team Ariana, which might result in more views, and they didn’t do this for the other performers.

Bottom 3- Jim and Sasha, Jeremy Rosado, Jershika Maple
Instant Save- Jershika Maple

Not the first time a male favorite on IDF plays the drums during part of the performance (another performance where I loved the stage presence/theatrics)- 2

This is the third week in a row where his performance landed in my Top 3 of the round. I think he’s been very consistent in the Lives and just keeps improving in my personal rankings.

they should go back to folk next two weeks though. They showed that they can hold their own outside their comfort zone, but its time to go back to what they do best. "Blowin In The Wind" and "Country Roads" are right there.
Yeah, I think they need to go back to these for Semis. It’s a great way to gain momentum going into the finale. I’m hoping they get to do Blowing in the Wind or Fleetwood Mac air something along those lines.
Their performance tonight definitely grew on me after relistening, but I really enjoy GNT when they are more intimate, like their Audition, Knockout and Top 13

In fact I would say both Me Too and Confident are the top 2 performances in the history of the show So You Think You Can Dance!
Rhythm Nation is my favorite but they’re close behind -

I don't usually pick my snowflake based on who I think it will win. Having said that, my snowflake last season was Corey Ward
They were basically my Top 2 last season. -

Did Charlie remove the letter B from the alphabet?
Also, Paris and Lana deserve much better grades.

I can see why that closed. It was probably their most showy performance
I definitely enjoyed that

LOL such mixed reviews on Hailey's performance.
I thought she was alright. Not as good as last week or not one of the standouts tonight. But she was passable.

They should have been sent home
They sang two songs about leaving/going home in the prelives, only to sing this the week after they were in the bottom -
This is the fifth time in the last 6 seasons this song has been covered (and it was covered 3 out of 4 seasons a few seasons before then)

Joshua. The song seemed to fit him more as a vocalist and performer
