It wasn't in the last several seasons because voting opened as soon as the show started. It's been very bad in the seasons where voting doesn't open till the end of the show, like is happening tonight. Not really a coincidence that your final 5 were the last 5 to go last week With each contestant going twice, it might matter more who is done first

Usually they do the interview with the coach before the uptempo, maybe they're changing it up

I think the producers would love a Niall win. It sets them up going into next season with a defending coach, and they can do all the only Reba has never won the show before stuff

As I've said, I don't think the producers want Blake winning. This seasons voting rules probably hurt him/his team the most. Now they're giving Grace the death spot (with voting not opening till the end of the show again, finishing early is deadly)

If you look at the dates, they’d actually work if they brought back this springs terrible schedule

The tiktok of Blake leaving the set, and the video he posted highlight an underrated part of Blake's tenure on the voice, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they didn't love working with him. That really sets a tone for a tv series

Dang people are picky this season, did you all wake up on the wrong side of the bed? Kelly and Blake don't say the exact same things to both contestants - they're terrible for playing favorites! NOIVAS wears a cowboy hat he's been wearing for years, pandering! Cripes, and we haven't even had the obligatory Christian gospel song yet

They always rehearse on Tuesday and Wednesday. Blake’s team has had the Tuesday slot for 23 seasons

It's to bad they didn't have some of Blake's past voice contestants come back to perform at his last show. We could've had a Cassadee Danielle duet

I’ve thought for a minute that they were trying to set this season up for Kelly to win. The new voting rules will really help Holly too. And now it makes sense.

Gwen cancelled Uk dates several weeks ago, we talked about it then as most likely being bc of the voice

I think it’s an interesting panel. Gwen seasons tend to be my favorite in terms of contestants. I do think the dynamics will be interesting bc other than Reba they tend to be more mellow coaches. (also Gwen has to be in LA anyways bc the boys are in school, Blake wanted more flexibility and two seasons a year is a lot)
