Chapter Five: Random Acts of Horror Maybe the most terrifying moment in any Rankdown is the appearance of a horrifying friend we call...The Randomizer. In this sequel, The Randomizer will claim many more victims. Chapter Rules: The Randomizer will claim a total of 60 victims over three rounds of randomized nominations. This is pretty unprecedented, but this is the Horror Rankdown 2.0 after all. 1. Each round the Randomizer will put 25 films in danger. 2. Each ranker must save one film and cut four films. Three mini write-ups and one regular write-up. Your cuts and save need to be made in one single post in order to count. 3. You will have one hour to complete all four write-ups. If the hour deadline is surpassed, your save becomes invalidated and will be put back up for danger. You will no longer be able to save that film and must pick a different film to save. This should incentivize you to do your write-ups immediately. The Power of Horror Twist: @Elliott decided to use his Power of Horror to earn an advantage for this round. The Power of Horror will afford Elliott great power this round, but in what form? Elliott, you must make a crucial decision. You may choose only one of these two options: 1) You will be given a sneak peek at all of the random nominations before they are posted. 2) You will be allowed to call for a redo on one set of randomized nominations after they have been posted. All of the films in the first randomized set will be removed from danger and the Randomizer will decide on a new set of nominations. The first set of films will be safe for that round of the Randomizer only. The round will begin once you have publicly made your decision.
