South Pacific has Sophie, pre-merge RI goddess Christine, and really interesting stuff going on with Coach and his minions. If you can get past the dark religious stuff it's a really good season Ugh goddess. Did you win an immunity, Jean-Robert???

Besides China (my favorite), Gabon, and DvG, my favorites are: Season 6 (Amazon) Season 7 (Pearl Islands) Season 9 (Vanuatu) pretty unpopular season but this has a fantastic storyline once the merge hits Season 11 (Guatemala) Season 16 (Micronesia) Best post-merge ever Season 18 (Tocantins) Season 20 (Heroes vs Villains) Season 23 (South Pacific) another really unpopular season but it's fascinating imo Season 27 (Blood Vs Water) Season 28 (Cagayan) Season 29 (San Juan Del Sur) def one of my favorites ever Season 31 (Cambodia) lots of chaotic energy but still really fun Season 32 (Kaoh Rong) A lot of people love Philippines (25) and Millenials vs Gen X (33) as well but I think both are sorta overrated

I'm like 99% sure Sherry's DQ is to blame. It seems like she was going to play a huge role in the season, performance and drama wise, and they just kind of swept it all to the side. In hindsight part of me wishes they would have left the edit the way it was, because it's a TV show created for entertainment purposes, but I know that wouldn't have been fair to the victims. Oh well. Bring on AS5! (And bring back Crystal for AS6 if she doesn't win)

It’s worth it

Rankings after this episode: 1. Crystal Methyd - LEGEND, that Bert and Ernie look was everything. Both of them looked so clean and fashionable and it was quintessential Crystal while showing a different side of her than I'd ever seen before. One of my favorite makeovers ever for sure. 2. Heidi N Closet - Easily the worst makeover of the week but Heidi remains a joy to watch. I'm so glad we get at least one more week of Heidi. 3. Jaida Essence Hall - I am firmly a Jaida fan and that makeover was flawlessly executed. I would have given the win to Crystal, or maybe a double win perhaps since they were equally as good but for different reasons. 4. Jackie Cox - Her makeover would have been safe easily if everyone else wasn't so on point. I like Jackie's presence this season well enough but she still has yet to wow me. That lipsync was a lot of fun though. 5. Gigi Goode - Thank you Daisy Ridley for calling out the extreme simplicity of Gigi's makeover, also Crystal was right in that Gigi's job wasn't too difficult since her superfan is extremely gorgeous out of drag. Still, I liked the look. She's still my least favorite left though. As an aside, SP's makeover this week was incredible, credit where credit is due. Janet the Planet is my spirit animal tbh
