  1. The part about him deciding not to post it was a misunderstanding on my part as I thought I had successfully convinced him to post it. I have been arrogantly assuming that I could convince Idol Maniac that it would be more fitting for him to post it given his larger profile within the Idolsphere. However, he was never going to post it.
  2. I will be posting Part 1 of the April Surprise later today and Part 2 of the April Surprise next week. I can confirm it's only about 2 guys.
  3. It would take something more than just poor performances to derail Triston's appeal to the southern white woman who are the dominant voting block of American Idol voters. His performance on Monday was still one of the best received on FB even despite its shortcomings.
  4. The judges' save for the Top 8 performance night will probably be used on a girl to eliminate Jack or Kayko although I suspect Jack will go home on Sunday.
  5. 1. Triston - Dominated Facebook the nights of the Top 20 to Top 14. Still solid numbers for Top 12 night even though the performance really sucked. 2. Will - Solid FB numbers. The only one aside from Kayko who has lead in FB reacts for any night aside from Triston. 3. Abi - The female contestant with the highest peak on FB reacts. She gave the performance of the season, which still isn't enough to win considering the bias this show has for male contestants. 4. Mia - The dark horse and my favourite in the competition. Makes great song choices and is the most consistent performer. Maybe she will be able to break into the Top 3 and slay the male country singers. 5. KB - She’s been quite inconsistent but has the full brunt of the Mormon fans in her homebase of Utah. The contestant that gets the biggest boost in FB reacts relatively compared to the rest after a day is KB, probably because of this Mormon fanbase. 6. Emmy - She has a safety cushion none of the other contestants have in that her grandmother is incredibly famous, so people are very curious about following her story. 7. Kayko - He should be good for another night considering his Somebody That I Used to Know was received well even though I thought it was terrible. He led the night in FB reacts for the first time. 8. Julia - I Believe was a mini-Rude moment for her in that it capped her support much like it did for Dennis in Season 16 where it didn't matter what he did after that as voters soured on him 'cause of that performance. 9. Jack - The edit has done the most to limit his appeal with the focus on the faces and his 2 NOs at his audition. Katy also painted him as a calculating strategist on Monday, which viewers aren't liking since they're easily susceptible to judge comments. 10. McKenna - Almost certainly going home on Sunday no matter how well she does.
  6. Top 10 Questions 1. Which 8 singers will advance to the Top 8? (160 points) - Triston - Will - Abi - Mia - Kaibrienne - Emmy - Kayko - Jack 2. Which 2 singers will be eliminated from the competition? (50 points) - McKenna (50 pts) - Julia (30 pts) 3. Which singer will be announced last by Ryan Seacrest to move forward to Top 8? (50 points) - Julia 4. Which female singer will be announced first by Ryan Seacrest to move forward to Top 8? (50 points) - Mia 5. Which male singer will be announced first by Ryan Seacrest to move forward to Top 8? (50 points) - Will 6. What will be the ratio of male and female singers in the Top 8? (20 points) - 4M:4F Bonus Question 7. How many singers in Top 10 will get standing ovation from Katy Perry? (50 pts) - 8 8. Will Lionel Richie give standing ovation to both eliminated singers after their performance? Yes or No (50 pts) - No 9. Which number of the performance order that one of the eliminated singer will be assigned to? From 1 (Opening the show) to 10 (Closing the show). (80 pts) - 3 10. How many singers will play musical instruments in their performance? (50 pts) - 5
  7. It's just like the rest of the finals voting nights. You will be voting. It's just the judges choose who will be advancing from the bottom group.
  8. Taylor Swift would never judge on American Idol, and she shouldn't since she'd make me eyes bleed with rage.
  9. The April Surprise is a scandal regarding a couple of male contestants. Idol Maniac has changed his mind about posting it, but since I already have the details, I will be posting it instead. ABC has no idea what is coming.
  10. What about the April Surprise Idol Maniac has hinted about that is yet to come? It could change the trajectory of the competition.
  11. People were fearmongering about a Phillip Phillips and Colton Dixon F2 in Season 11, and that didn't end up happening. I believe the fears of a Triston/Will F2 are similarly unfounded.
  12. It could happen. The judges are trying to get Triston to give them Elvis energy with his extremely awkward stage presence. Who knows whether Triston will take the bait though.
  13. Triston is staring right at your face. If there is a front runner, it's him.
